Got invited to go to dinner with some mates and his friends and this place did not disappoint! A party of 6 reservation - seated quickly and the vibes in this place were amazing. Great music - not too loud, a few throwbacks - and the service was phenomenal. We decided to do the group deal for 6 that had the soups, 4 large plates and some small plates plus we got a few sides. As a vegetarian- the papaya salad, long beans and brussel sprouts were amazing- but that was in addition to all the other dishes. The pork, beef, seafood and chicken slayed. Plus to coconut rice was heavenly and unlimited! The dishes were brought out in the perfect timing possible and empty plates cleared immediately. The drinks were so good and also came out in record time. Honestly I would come back here in a heartbeat. If you’re in the area be sure to check this place out. Will def be back to try their brunch! Vegetarian options: brussel sprouts, cauliflower, long beans i could eat 3 servings, papaya salad!
First time going here and I was impressed. Food was so tasty and well made, my favorite was the sinigang shrimp. All dishes has a very unique flavor. Service was also excellent. Would definitely come back!Food: 4/5
Pig and Khao is an amazing restaurant dishing out some beautiful Southeast Asian fare. The P&K chicken wings and the Spring rolls were delicious. The Khao Soi, Hainanese Duck and the Whole fried fish for the mains was fabulous and super delish. And the Turon as the dessert was a great finish to this wonderful meal. Paired with great cocktails and mocktails, Pig and Khao, truly is a great place to check out.
amazing food overall a solid 9/10!! Food are all super flavorful, rich, and complex in taste. COCONUT RICE is a MUST! Servers are super helpful Here’s my rating from ny fav dish to least: Crab Foo Yoong is SOOOO GOOD ! Super well balanced and nice texture! Not too salty not too sweet literally a perfect simple dish and comforting Sizzling Sisig was perfect!! Flavor and texture wise is super simple and less complex than the other but GOODD Sinigang Shrimp is quite mindblowing from texture, flavors from the ingredients.. more on a “sour citrus-ish dish” MUST TRY Baby Back Ribs was rich in BBQ sauce but nothing one of a kind or mind blowing type of meal but still super decent Bellychon is okay.. the salt is not even and the sauces are kinda underwhelming and the crispiness of the skin wasnt the most perfect but still a really decent lechon Khao Soi was not a hit for us and our least favorite comparing to the other dishes! It was too sour
A good spot for a family style meal with interesting flavors and textures! Favorites included the sisig, khao soi, and the sinigang shrimp! 4.5/5 Sinigang Shrimp 4.2/5 Khao Soi 4/5 Sizzling Sisig 3.8/5 Green Papaya Salad 3.5/5 Crab Foo Young 4/5 Coco Rice Drinks 3.8/5 Kentucky Pig 3.5/5 Deliver us from Evil 3/5 Botanist Burial Overall, for SE Asian food, there are quite a few spots I would return to in the city before visiting this one again, but it had a solid sampling of flavors and dishes from the SE Asian region. Would skip the drinks on the next visit, as none of us were fans.
This Thai/Filipino spot on the LES feels like a party, but with flavorful, interesting dishes This Southeast Asian restaurant led by the talented chef Leah Cohen is an excellent pick for a lively meal with friends. Be sure to order the whole fried fish, P&K wings ,Khao Soi, Hainanese Duck and finish with the traditional dessert Turon. Really great dinner spot for Filipino/Thai food to share family style with a group! Staff were very hospitable and attentive. My favorite items were the sizzling sisig, Hainanese duck, and ricotta donuts with kalamansi custard.Food: 5/5
Food is good and service is great. The pork adobo 4/5 was the best thing I ate here - the pork was well cooked and had excellent flavor with the broth. The sigsig 4/5 was okay but at times difficult to eat with the very chewy bits. The papaya salad 4/5 was solid. Overall great food and nice service.Food: 4/5
A great spot for brunch with $21/person bottomless mimosas, which we thought were delicious! The food was okay, we thought some stuff was too salty for our liking. Would recommend getting a reservation but the restaurant is quite big with an enclosed patio area so you can try your luck walking in.Food: 3/5
It was one of the best dining experience I ever had. The service was impeccable and the staff were so attentive to everyone. I really enjoyed the food and bottomless brunch. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
