Pike's Nurseries - Matthews has a beautiful assortment of flowers, plants, trees, & pottery. I love this place! I was welcomed as soon as I walked through the door and asked by several members of the staff if I needed assistance. I had such an enjoyable visit and purchased a slat of English Ivy.
Jeff is extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak with! He helped me with some pesticides and fertilizer for my rose bushes, explained how to use it and the benefits. I am so appreciative of the advice and will be returning to Pike for all my gardening needs.
This is the second Pike location that I’ve been to, and their selection of houseplants is probably the best I’ve seen so far. They had a ton of different plants that I’ve not seen at any other plant nursery in Charlotte yet, and I’ve been to most of them. Their prices are also more reasonable than other nurseries in Charlotte. If you are a houseplant lover, check this place out!
I went to Pike Nurseries for the first time today and had the best experience. Their selection is amazing and the plants all look healthy. I’m a garden novice and the sweetest associate took the time to help me pick plants for 3 planters.
Very overpriced for undergown plants. Buy a 5 gallon and get maybe a 3 gallon plant if that. No root system and soil just falls away when unpotted. The plants I bought should have grown for at least another season before being sold as the size at which they were priced. I shouldn't have bought them but I needed them. They got my money, what should they care? There are hundreds of other suckers right behind me.

Needed to get Orchids transplanted for Mom. They took care of everything. I knew I could trust them eith this. Mom has gotten too old to handle it, and I know nothing. I've known of them forever, but never needed their services before. Everything good I've heard about them.... 100% true I highly recommend
Ginny at Pike Nursery did a great job designing and supervising the installation our new courtyard. We would happily use Ginny and Pike again.
They have really beautiful stuff but, they're way overpriced. I saw items there that I also saw at Home Depot for much less.
