Pilot Travel Center

Busy! This place is almost always busy and the parking lot is a bit of a cluster. Restrooms could probably be cleaned a little more frequently. However, they have everything you need and they do a great job of moving people through the lines efficiently. I can't fault them for being busy when they are the only decent travel center in the middle of nowhere.

I hate giving a 1-star review, as anyone can make a mistake... but I filled up here (in the professional driver lanes -- which is supposed to supply the safest diesel, at a premium price) on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, and what I got was a LOT OF WATER in the fuel. Just ten minutes down the road after filling up with almost 90 gallons of fuel my Cummins 400 ISL started to choke. I almost didn't make it to Wall, SD. Didn't realize it until a few days later (after adding an anti-water additive to the tank and changing all the filters)... but it was bad fuel. This may not seem like a huge deal to most people, but anyone with a "big rig" diesel knows that bad fuel and leave you stranded if it's bad enough. I'm thinking someone left the ground cap open after filling up the main tanks under ground and rain water got in. I wasn't in a rush, but I feel bad for the professional drivers filling up who had deadlines.

A Very convenient store to go to. This place has a subway attached to it. I was looking for something else but settled for a hot dog which was pretty good for a gas station hot dog. Parking here was a little crowded though but other than that, I would go again.

Friendly and helpful. We were allowed to park our RV over night. We were also able to weigh the car and trailer

Nice pit stop for travelers and truckers alike. Very busy place during the day. They have fuel, food and a casino here. Something for everyone 😊
