Beautiful hidden little gem. Nice short walking loop, but plenty to see and take in while doing your walk. Our dog and daughter loved it! As well as me and my husband. It has a small playground perfect for our 3 year old. Only problem is , it's not thr cleanest park as far as garbage and people coming for smoke walks etc. But to each their own
Love going here and now that it isn't trashed it's better to bring the kids along now. Plus they can play on the playground before or after swimming. Now if people can just bring their trash out with them and place into trash barrels that are literally by the playground then it will stay clean this summer for families to enjoy. 3/19/22 Update: well so much for staying clean. Should have known better went back here last week and someone actually brought a barrel down from up by the playground. You would think that would help but nope! Literally trash all around in a 5 foot radius. My 8 year old and I actually went around cleaning up as much as we could see of it and then took the time to watch two beavers we came across swimming and building on a dam here. 6/4/22
Nice little park if you got little ones, take the dog for a walk down the trails , go fishing. Good place to burn a few hours. Well kept and clean during my experience.
It's a nice little park. It has a playground and you can short woods hike following along the river. There's a rope swing set up. There are also some benches and picnic tables.
Amazing place for the whole family. There is a nice one through the woods behind the park. My cousin and I put up a new rope for the rope swing. I also built three platforms for the rope swing as well as a bench to look out over the water. My friends and family have been coming here for years. One of my favorite spots in Manchester.
Beautiful pond, quiet, nice walking trails, swimming
Nice small park with nice view of water. No parking with an overlook, a short walk is required to fully enjoy the scenes. Includes a play ground, great write ups on the history and an old cemetery to enjoy as well. No fires or grills permitted.
Beautiful place to go in the spring, fall and summer time. In the winter....let just say it’s hidden and police don’t regularly patrol the parking lot. On both occasions that I’ve gone here in the winter 2021. I’ve seen 2 drug deals go done in the parking lot. They weren’t quiet about it. Oh well, it’s Manchester. Can’t say I’m surprised. But do go when it’s warm and more people are there enjoying the park for what it was meant for.
Great trails fun to walk threw.
Trails are too short for walking more than 2 minutes and it seems to end in someone's backyard. The area is noisy thanks to being beside a busy road and near the airport. Graffiti everywhere. There is a playground but I didn't look at it so not sure how safe it is.
