Pink Nori is one of my go-to neighborhood fusion sushi spots. If you're looking for tasty rolls and even tastier cocktails, then swing on by! The service is also and the vibe is super relaxing. One of my favorite speciality rolls is the pink sexy lady. That roll alone is filling, but come on, get the scallion pancakes for the table. It won't hurt at all!
Came here during lunch and it was amazing. We had the Salmon Carpaccio and Takoyaki as appetizers and it came out perfectly. Nice presentation and very delicious. We had the Teriyaki lunch specials and it was good and filling. The service was nice and quick as well. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.
Always delicious sushi! Used to live in the area, but now we only take out when in the area or once in a blue moon will eat in. If you live locally, enjoy this place, it’s a Diamond in the rough!
If you like sushi this is the place in Astoria. Reasonable prices, fast service and delicious food.
Came here for dinner on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. A lot of people ordering it for take out. We chose to sit at the bar, which was a bit regrettable due to the blender being right next to us. We started with the duck sliders and pepper edamame. Both were delicious! For the mains we got the spicy sushi combo and chirashi. Pretty decent but too much tempura flakes on top in my opinion.
I started with the peking duck sliders which is basically a bao bun along with the rock shrimp. Both items lacked flavour in my opinion, it wasn’t bad but I feel adding a bit more flavour to it would have done it for me. I went with very high expectations because of the reputation of the restaurant but my experience was average.
This is definitely my go to spot for sushi in Astoria. Great staff, fresh food. Fantastic service. Bit don't take my word for it..check it out yourself
Sushi is pretty good. I wish they added more avocado to their special pink nori roll. We also ordered the sweetheart roll which was tasty but one of those rolls where one piece is enough. I wasnt a fan of the California roll but everyone else loved it. We had their rock shrimp which was tasty but the shrimp definitely need to be bigger so the crust can have a better crisp. Their shumai was a fail. Some pieces were cold and I think it's prepackaged. Their crystal shrimp dumplings were much better. Their duck sliders are unique. While I enjoyed them the rest of my party were not fans complaining their was too much sauce and the bread was off. The fried ice cream was not great. I recommend just getting ice cream. All in all a good place and very friendly service.
This is my go to sushi place in Astoria. The staff are all so kind, and their food is great. Would recommend whether you are eating in or taking it to go!
Great place for sushi lovers, prices are reasonable, fast service. Definitely I will come back
