I always give this place the benefit of the doubt jersey city central ave--- I used to constantly come here when previous owners because definitely they are not the same owners....Anyway, everytime I order here somethings is wrong or they miss something from my order....this time I waited 25 mins for my order which is not bad but when I go pick it up the lady tells me "I'm sorry no white rice do you want moro or yellow?".....---she should've called me back and ask....---so I said I'll wait for the rice to be made....another 10 mins ok no problem. I get home n the rice is in a open container---I have no clue what this container is used for but if you can't even close it then it's not the proper container! It a as literally like a flat container and rice coming all out.....Disgusting I lost my appetite and def my last time ordering here----see the last picture on the pictures page... not sure why u couldn't add it here

If I can give 0 stars I would! Terrible food . Slow staff. !I Ordered a steak sandwich which was 11.60 . Not worth it at all! It should be 1.60 . SMH ! The sandwich was dry , no mayo no ketchup .steak was bland and very dry !! Fries were stale and soggy , almost as if it was just thawed out and put on the bread . The bread was stale , seemed like a 2 day old bread . I wouldn’t even give it to my dog ! Worse sandwich ever made . Hopefully my trash can enjoyed it because that’s where it went to . I do not recommend this place at all!

I sat down to eat but it was a bit too cold in the restaurant so I ordered takeout. Ropa Vieja. It was quite lo salty. A side of fried cassava was pretty good but slightly salty. The waitress was very attentive. Parking: A little difficult to park street

Ambience is ok. Food is very tasty and quantity is enough. We get 2 sidesYellow rice/White rice and Black beans with every order. We get many varieties in menu and taste is good for most of the menu.In desserts Tiramasu coffeewill be awsome taste and definitely have it

Caters to Hispanics, Asians and American palates. Some of the menu choices can be found in more expensive restaurants like ox tail, pork lechon shoulders, Cuban dishes different and unusual sandwich choices is something to raise ones taste buds. The location is in one of Jersey City's high traffic and difficult to park areas during lunch and dinner time. But given the tasty food served, with expresso coffee and affordable prices, looking for parking is worth the trip. The restaurant is clean with courteous staff to cater to customers cravings.
