Called Pioneer based on their excellent reviews. Rafael arrived for an appointment to discuss my project. Took measurements and drafted a plan and scheduled a day. Calvin and his crew arrived and they were very courteous and professional. They installed a new sump pump drainage system and wall covering. They did a great job and kept me informed of the progress. I highly recommend this company.
Pioneer Basement is a company that goes above and beyond their competition. We needed to replace our existing sump pump that was old, as well as a backup pump with a battery. We had our work done on July 2023. The crew also worked on improving the external drainage from our sump pump discharge. The work Pioneer has done has protected our home from the torrential storms we've been having the last few months, and we truly owe it to Pioneer Basement for performing amazing work to protect our home. While our neighbors were getting water in their basement, our basement has been water-free. Even when the power went out, having the battery and two sump pumps, along with the 24/7 emergency line is a peace of mind that we're glad to have. We've had some parts that initially triggered false alarms, but Pioneer came out immediately and replaced the necessary parts under warranty. All replaced parts were tested on the spot. We appreciated the due diligence. Later in the year, we also had to patch up some seepage that was caused by storms, but Pioneer was able to properly fix it, and it came with an amazing warranty. Other professionals would have performed cheap and quick solutions, but what separates Pioneer Basement from the others is that they want to implement long term solutions that will stand the test of time. The generous warranty is the cherry on top. We'd recommend anyone who needs a solid basement solution with an amazing team that stands by their work to look into Pioneer Basement. Big shout out to the amazing team Pioneer has: The office staff Catherine, Tina, Paulina, and Jocelyn for making scheduling and billing a smooth process. Every phone call we've had with them has been a joy. The operations managers Tim and Rene were prompt, professional, provided us reasonable options for estimates, and provided us the solutions we were looking for. Tim has also been amazing with emergency responses thank you again. Last but not least the crew that came and did the work: Kervin, Jonathan, and Sebastian amazed us with the level of detail of the work they performed for our job. They didn't shy away from procuring extra crushed stone that was needed, and they were able to put back the sod exactly how it was before such that we didn't need to re-sod. They did an amazing job installing the complex pumps and backups with neat cable ties and smoothened concrete finish. They also explained to us how the whole system worked so we'd be informed on how to troubleshoot the system. We hope Pioneer Basement can continue delivering their best and continue growing. Having a great company for waterproofing solutions is a must with all the recent precipitation.
Had Pioneer install a dehumidifier in my basement last year, ran great and really took care of the air quality. As this season was ramping up, warmer temperatures, humidity, I kept checking on the unit, cleaned the filter, I noticed it was throwing an error code so I called and immediately got support. When the troubleshooting did not fix the issue I was given an appointment quickly and promptly. The technician came out and proactively brought a new unit just in case. The root cause of the issue could not be determined on site so the technician swapped out the unit with a new one at no cost. I am extremely pleased with the service and remediation of fixing this issue.
Installed new sump pump system to replace the old one in home. Prompt and professional service on site and anytime needed to talk to office. Workmanship top notch, including installing an underground drain pit in yard team carefully dug the trench in the lawn and put the sod back carefully afterward - could hardly tell they’d dug!. After install they return promptly to connect system to wifi and ensure our text / email alerts are set up properly. Highly recommend Pioneer Basement / Sump Pump Geeks!
We had a great experience with Pioneer Basement, all things considered. After 3 years in our home without incident, the intense rains last summer resulted in a flooded basement. Once the water found its way that first time, it happened again with each heavy rain. Pioneer and others we spoke to informed us that we had extremely high ground water and that the most fool proof fix would be a French drain/sump pump system. It’s a relatively invasive fix that required jackhammering through the concrete basement floor. We’ve thankfully been completely dry since – and we’ve seen some crazy monsoon rains. I suggest you request Tim Xavier in particular. He is extremely knowledge and experienced, patient, considerate and a true professional. He explained to me all the possible options for a fix. And by that, I mean he patiently explained to me multiple times when I’d randomly text with questions at all hours. I texted Tim with a follow-up question nearly a whole year after the work was completed, and he replied right away. I never once felt like he pushed us towards a particular solution but rather was objective and considerate of our budget and needs. Tim also worked alongside a contractor finishing our basement who was not the most pleasant. He just did his job without complaint and made sure that the contractor and me knew exactly what needed to be done to work around the drain system. Definitely have Pioneer on your list with anything basement water related!
Pioneer is one of the best service companies that I've ever encountered. They are outstanding in every facet of their interaction with customers and execution of solutions. There is no better company to deal with the increasingly challenging issues of water flow. Pioneer excels in every way and earned my five-star rating completely.

I've been a customer since 2018 and couldn't be more pleased. Very knowledgeable and respectful staff! Recently upgraded with a double liner pit and it works great!
I had my pump serviced last week. The techs showed up early/on time, were in and out in under an hour, and did a bang up job. Everything was explained to me on how they would go about checking my system and cleaning it up/out, while looking for any issues. I was supplied before/after pictures, which is very helpful. It was worth the long wait for an appointment, and I would definitely use their service again
