Piperi's whole shtick is that everything is so fresh, that they don't even have a freezer. That's all well and good, but at the end of the day, it's the *taste* of the food that's far more important. And the taste... Is pretty good. But they have off days. If it was more consistent, I'd gladly offer 4-stars. For example, some days the chicken is seasoned well and juicy, other days it's dry with hard bits of cartilage. All of the toppings are great, and taste as they should. Feta tastes like... feta, tzaziki tastes like... tzaziki.. My favorite addition combo is the tangy Moroccan carrots with the tzaziki. The line gets long, but goes fast with the assembly line setup. The lower price partially makes up for the food inconsistency.
Great find in the downtown area for all - carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Delicious and healthy options. Not expensive. Great sauce selections. Loved it! I love food so can't give anything that's not absolutely incredible five stars. But this is truly a great option for lunch.
This is a lunch favorite of mine. Service is fast. All the ingredients are homemade that day. I get kale with hummus and falafel and lots of toppings. I have never had a bad meal here, and the price is just right.
Flavorful and fresh, with amazing seasonal toppings that rotate and a great spicy sauce. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious lunch. Be mindful of their closing, time, and that they are not open on weekends. Lemonade here is A+ too.
I ordered a bowl online online and picked up when prompted but everything in my bowl was room temperature. Prices were competitive for other bowl places in the area, but portions were pretty small. I also ordered kale and quinoa as a base but it only had brown rice. Tasted fine overall for 50 cents more you can get something better.
Fantastic food, great and friendly service, decently sized seating. I discovered this place almost 5 years ago when I had to serve as a juror on a big trial at the courthouse next door over the course of a few weeks. I probably went here at least 5-6 times during those weeks. Since that trial, every time I wanted to come back, something always came up... until today. The real deal always stays consistent lol
Ok place for quick lunch. Prices good. Ingredients fresh. Flavor ok. Not blown away though. I would recommend Noon a couple blocks away. Edit: Thank you for replying I apologize for correcting you but Noon Mediterranean on 95 Summer St is still open. And I would prefer to go there for lunch. Which is just my personal opinion. I feel they have a greater selection and more lively atmosphere. If you are reading this review, I can elaborate on some point where I wasn’t blown away: + My friend said that the last time she went to your establishment you served chicken that was grilled in house. The day we went you did not have said chicken. I think there’s appeal in fresh grilled chicken or being able to see chicken grilled. I thought the chicken I ate on that day, although tasty, lacked color. + I didn’t enjoy the decor. It wasn’t “appetizing” I did enjoy the tables outside though. Perhaps improve the lighting, that can be a cost effective way to improve your establishment + Your service was quite fast. + I noticed a few letters missing in your sign, perhaps look into that. + I thought your food was quite decent overall, but feel it could be presented in a more appetizing way. + I feel I was too harsh in giving you two stars, so I’ll move it to three.
So good! Fresh and tasty. Maybe my favorite place we ate on our visit to Boston! The staff realized we hadn't been there before and explained all the options. Very friendly. Then as I was ordering I wanted to get chicken and order a side of falafel to try it, and they informed me I could do half/half and the price would be in the middle of the two $6.75 for that and it was so much food! Then you get to choose as many toppings as you want! Would definitely return if we weren't leaving town today.
Very cheap lunch option! I got the Gozi wrap for $6.95, and you can add as many toppings as you want although the menu says up to four toppings. The standouts from the selection were the following: red cabbage slaw Moroccan carrots yogurt cucumber sauce Spicy tomato sauce The line goes by very quickly, and everyone in the assembly line was very friendly. This usually can't be said of many restaurants around the area, since lunch gets very busy and workers tend to get a little upset or cranky. I was in and out of the restaurant within 5-7 minutes!
All of the toppings are so fresh and perfectly seasoned to compliment the flavorful, moist chicken. I have been here a number of times and never experienced dry chicken! The falafel is also one of the best around. I prefer to go with either just chicken or just falafel, but people tend to order half chicken/half falafel to get the best of both worlds.
