Great staff, authentic cuisine, and great atmosphere. Cash ONLY. Khachapuri cheese bread was delicious and exactly as I expected. Salad made a great side, it was fresh, and light.
If you want good Georgian food and a true Georgian experience, definitely give Pirosmani a shot! They were doing some renovation when we got there, but the staff was courteous and attentive... A good mix of available, but giving us enough breathing room to chat, peruse the many, many photos of old Georgian actors and legends and paintings by Pirosmani, and really enjoy the menu. The khinkali we had lamb and beef is fantastic, the khachapuri is delish all their varieties are great, but the Adjaruli really stood out to the group... Even to the non-Georgians! Don't miss it! The eggplant will make you feel as though you died and went to heaven. The spinach and beet salads were both amazing... try some with the Georgian bread. Don't like eggplant, spinach or beets? Try it anyway. You'll love it! If you don't enjoy garlic, however, there may be a slight problem. Bring mints. The shish kebabs were good, though the beef was a tad on the dry side. Comes with a delicious sauce, and the fries are spectacular, though, so no biggie. During weekends, they have live music, and are more crowded, but if you want to slowly eat your way through and savour the Georgian cuisine, try and go on a weekday. Giorgi was our very gracious server. TL;DR: Everything is delicious. Come hungry. I will definitely be going back!
Attn:Restaurant Manager - Please address the following issues : Credit Card Payments Staff informed your credit card machine has been broken for 2-3 weeks . Liquor License - you don’t serve alcohol even though your restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Staff - Staff members must be more alert and hospitable toward walk-in customers . Waiter was not knowledgeable in the menu and had issues understanding the dishes explained to him . I was disappointed with the service in the first 5 minutes and decided to leave . I hope this review serves you well and you make the necessary changes to accept guests who wish to receive welcoming service.
Ordered delivery through Uber eats. Soup was delivered half of container and not tasty. Beef stew was not eatable at all. I love Georgian food, but this food was disgusting. Waist $30
I was there at my Georgian friend's wedding dinner last year. It was not a regular day and I cannot say anything about service however it was good for the wedding event but the food was really good. It was the most authentic taste I’ve tried in NYC. I’ve tasted a lot of variety of food and liked all of them.
Good service, delicious food. highly recommend. Thank you
Okay, this place was really awful. -Shish kebab was dry as hell. -Honesty, waiter didn't do anything he must do, we brought our own water, beer and soda, because they don't have much options I guess. No water refill. -They added too much salt to hachapuri. +/-They even failed with one more order, so we waited 20 more mins, but they gave it for free, I should admit that. +management was really nice + Honestly, the only thing we liked was salad. I really can't recommend this place to anyone.
Good selection of Georgian cuisine and it is tasty. If you are not from Georgia country of not familiar with that food it is at some point difficult to choose a dish you want to eat. At Saturday evening the restaurant is really busy and after 7 PM they have life Georgian music.
Familiar with Russian, Georgian and other famous former Soviet Union cuisines? That's the place to satisfy your nostalgia. Quality of food is about good to average. Really not bad to celebrate some event in company of friends.
Great authentic Georgian food, nice music
