Pizza Hut

Have loved Pizza Hut and has been a family favorite for a long time. The one location we don't seem to have luck with is the Central and Rock Rd location. Food comes out inedible, burnt, overcooked nearly every time. It turns into a lot of food waste at that point when we order so much food. If it were a one time deal, no big deal nor a problem. More than a couple times? Then I figured it was important to mention. Not upset, just really disappointed.

Called to get an update on a delivery that was later than the ETA. When I called they told me they canceled the order because I was outside of the delivery zone. The tracker was never updated and I was charged for the order. Still waiting to hear back from someone.

Ordered contactless delivery. Online it said driver would wait at a safe distance after knocking. Barely heard a knock and no driver in sight. The breadsticks were very flat and hard as though they were not allowed to rise or not cooked all the way. This is a mistake that was obviously not cared about because they have to place the breadsticks into a bag before sitting them out to be delivered. It is one thing to forget a topping or something along those lines but to not throughly cook the food is another issue. I order quite often from Pizza Hut too which is disappointing.

Both my girlfriend and myself felt like our large pizza was smaller than normal. Hopefully itnwas just a one time thing. We are always very impressed with how quickly our food arrives and the drivers are always extremely polite.

I ordered a pizza on the mobile app. I was given the wrong pizza. So I went back to the store the workers were yelling with each other. After a few minutes I was helped. I ordered a thin crust and got hand tossed. He told me "it is half eaten" I told him "I set the pizzas down and got a drink and the guests got pizza before I realized it was wrong. My wife wanted thin crust." After that he begrudgingly said that he will make me another one. While I was in the store my wife texted me and told me that she found a gray hair baked into the pizza. no one at our house has gray hair Not once did he apologize for giving me the wrong pizza or having me drive back in or for the wait. Sorry never came across his lips. I will not go back to that pizza hut, there is another pizza shop that is closer.

So I just moved to a new address and ordered pizza to get delivered. Did not get a notice at all that for some odd reason that you Pizza Hut does not deliver to this area. So I called the store and the rep sounded unbaffled not sure what to say then placed me on hold and come back on to say sorry we dont deliver to this area. I was so mad because my email said payment confirmed and order tracker said pizza is being made. No other notice so I called Dominoes instead.

I give this specific Pizza Hut a 2 star only because I called the next day and got 1000% better customer service. I arrived here to pickup a carryout order about 20 minutes before closing time. When I arrived Casey, Cassie, KC not sure of the spelling had an appearance that she looked like she had a long day, was on the phone with a customer and was very rude towards them, rolling her eyes and very short with her answers. Once she completed the call and assisted me I asked if there was any substitute I could have with them being out of breadsticks that come with the pasta I ordered? She said she already compensated me taking the breadsticks off. However, the cost was still the same, $8.99. When I brought that to to her attention she rolled her eyes and went to the other register to try to prove her false point that the price was different. To her surprise, it was the same cost. To sum it up she was very rude and non accomodating; she let me know it wasn't her fault they were out of breadsticks, questioned why I would expect to be compensated for breadsticks that cost $5.99 if purchased separately, told me there was nothing she could do for me no 2 liter, no dessert, no wings, no pizza NOTHING, and that I could just take it up with corporate and their number would be on my reciept. I asked her for her name, she let me know the total again and I respectfully declined the goods due to the lack of her customer service. She greeted me with a very sarcastic and dry "Have a great night" and proceeded with a "Thanks for wasting my time" I left and proceeded to the next Pizza Hut before they closed where I received my pasta AND breadsticks for $8.99. I also called to report Casey and to my surprise she's in management there! I explained to Katelynn what happened and Katelynn was apologetic about the situation, and made it up on behalf of Casey. Katelynn displayed excellent customer service, she was very friendly, very accomodating and wanted to make it right. Thank you Katelynn!!

Order was ready on time, but wasn't even close to what was ordered, employee failed to check or verify that the order was correct

It pains me to write this because the pizza wasn't bad but the delivery service stinks. Pizza hut needs to change their policy or they WILL lose more customers. First policy change deliver range... I have a Pizza Hut that is exactly one mile to the east of me and another that is .7 tenths of a one mile to the west of me. The east one which is exactly one mile from me is the much higher rated and better performing Pizza Hut. The one I'd ideally rather order from but I assumed to protect franchisees they don't allow me to take a delivery from that one and I have to order from the one to the west of my house.  First policy change if I'm within two to five miles of a given Pizza Hut they should deliver regardless of the other Pizza Huts that are close to me. Anyways, I placed delivery order today and the manager took my order, she was patient courteous and kind. I found myself thinking hey maybe this location has a bad rep however when the delivery person showed up he parked in my driveway and his car leaked oil all over my driveway. Then he didn't have the decent courtesy to come back and let me know hey sorry sir I leaked oil all over your driveway. Luckily I saw it so now I'm out here cleaning this oil off of my driveway so it doesn't stain.  Pizza Hut's second policy change delivery parking location... delivery drivers shouldnot be allowed to pull into the customer's driveway. It's especially problematic to me because I have plenty of street parking and you can walk straight up to the front door, and it's a much easier walk then from the driveway.

The pizza was fresh and both of the employees I encountered were SO FRIENDLY! It was super cold outdoors and one was a delivery driver, but both in great spirits!
