It's a bit of a trek from downtown Burlington. Mini golf was fun, but several of the holes have been taken over by the rest of the arcade from last time we'd been there years ago. Good selection of arcade games though. Didn't try the pizza
Right now, Pizza Putt is a sad husk of its former self. Many if not most of the arcade machines are broken, the atmosphere is all over the place and lacking memorability, and the food is sub-par. Mini-golf is fun, and I like the themes involved, but it seems every year they take out another hole, and by the end of the course it feels like you're in an active construction zone. The pipes from the water traps remain, despite not having been run in over a decade, the holes no longer have walls to separate them, and you have to carefully watch your golf ball since there aren't enough colors for everyone to have their own. It's disappointing because it really starts off with good promise. The worst part is how great this place could be if given proper care. Get some good music playing throughout the place, darken the lighting, fix the machines, anything you can do to create some personality and atmosphere. Play into people's nostalgia, get some more old games. Right now the vast majority of the machines are essentially "Gambling: Kids Edition!". Bring in Pac-Man, bring in Galaga, we need games that people want to play, not mindless ticket dispensers that fail to do even that half the time. There was a lonely Tetris machine that only accepted tokens, which was a fun surprise and the highlight of my visit. It's probably clear by now that when you visit it doesn't feel like anyone involved with the place cares. I don't know if it was the world map I sat next to that was badly torn and patched over by a toddler, or the fact that my root beer consisted entirely of water because no one noticed the syrup had run out. Either way I hope it finds new management, because it would endlessly satisfy me to see Pizza Putt's full potential realized.
I was frustrated they didn't know what I wanted as I made the arrangements over the phone and had to reschedule my plan without the same options id chose to do over the phone. I was overcharged and overwhelmed. They tried talking to me in front of my entire party of people about prices. If it wasn't about my Son's birthday I would have dealt with being overcharged and pressured into things I didn't arrange to begin with and didn't receive all of it either. MY SON AND HIS BUDDIES HAD A BLAST THOUGH! DONT FORGET THE IMPORTANT PART THR KIDS HAD FUN!
We started with breadsticks and chicken tenders and the service was quick and the food was delicious. The barbecue chicken pizza was very good. I feel like we received a good value for our money. We played mini putt and we bowled. Both were a lot of fun. We spent about four hours there and our daughter had a great time. She loved the arcade and didn't want to go home.
Don't get me wrong, I've loved this place since I was a kid. Took our young son and nieces from out of town on a hot summer day. The mini golf needs a major refresh and the a/c wasn't working. Sweat it out and had some great pizza at a great price after. Think the a/c was broken. Had a portable unit in the dining room and the temperature said 81 inside on a hot humid day. I love this place, but wish they would invest in refreshing the property not just adding attractions.
It's okay to take the kids out during winter. Place to me is outdated and could use a little love. The staff was nice. The floors are clean but there's a smell like old. The play structure could use a hand too. I went down the slide with my toddler and it was awful. I hated the way it was designed. The ball pit is pretty much empty.
Great place to take the whole family! There's so much to do there including arcade games, a climbing structure for the kids, mini golf, laser tag, bumper cars and a batting cage! Pricing is affordable. The only down side is that most of the staff there are teens under 18 yrs old so customer service isn't up to par but on the same note it's nice that they employ our youth. I feel like there should be a responsible adult there w the young staff but most of the time there isnt.
My child loves coming here. The birthday parties are fun and we like being able to play a short round of indoor mini-golf it's only 9 or 10 holes. As a parent, I find this place lacking. It's starting to show it's wear and age. The layout of the building seems, at first, to be a cluttered maze. The games in the arcade sometimes don't work right and they are WAY overpriced. I can see some huge potential for this pace to be great, but sadly, it is becoming a local dive spot and new competition in the area makes this pace downright unattractive.
It is what it is...nothing over the top like Chucke Cheese but it does the same routine. Most of the arcade games are older and some don't work. The food is basic, enough to feed kids before they run off and play. Could use an interior lighting upgrade as the place is somewhat dim. Staff deserves some appreciation. It takes a lot to handle screaming kids all day and cleaning up after them and their parents. Overall, as long as the kids are happy, you can still have a good time.
My 5 year old loves the games and enormous play structure. We can play indoors during lousy weather and stay for a good, inexpensive dinner. I had an issue last visit with a double charge from the dinner, and the owner called me right away and cleared it up. I do wish the ticket and arcade game machines were better maintained, as it seems we discover a few are out of order before the staff does. The staff are always quick to apologize and offer credits to rectify the issue.
