Nice restaurant right on M Street. When we walked in, the host barely acknowledged us and lead us to our table with nothing more than a grunt which was kind of weird. Pizza was expensive but pretty good. The buffalo wings were small and just okay but the homemade blue cheese dressing was very good. The new “no tipping” policy is interesting. They add a 20% fee on every dine in bill now. Coming from Boston, I’ve had better pizza but it was a decent spot that was somewhat affordable for Georgetown.
Visited 11/12/22 niece order pepperoni pizza. She didn't like the pepperoni on the bottom, the cheese was burnt & ate two slices. The other was meatball panini w/ chips. First bite was majority bread with a little meat. Too much bread. We will go again. Customer Service & atmosphere was great, but we wil order something different.Food: 3/5
We were a party of 10 and had a reservation for dinner. Even if you plan to come in with a smaller party I recommend making a reservation. The space is pretty small so I can see it filling up quickly with long wait times if you walk in. They do have bar seating as well for more efficiency, but that seemed to fill up too. They have 9inch size or 15inch sizes. I ordered a 9inch miniera pizza and did the spicy garlic pesto sauce, mushrooms, hot cherry peppers, and Gorgonzola cheese. The peppers are pretty spicy. I usually like to add red chili flakes on my pizza but opted out because the peppers did the job. On my pizza the peppers were all crowded in the center so my first couple bites for each slice were seriously spicy. It was still good, but I’m glad I got the extra Gorgonzola on top of the standard mozzarella because it made it cheesier which I liked.
I got a rose and a Grigo for my drinks. Not very sweet but complimented pizza. For pizza one was a make your own and mine was chicken sausage, broccoli, kale, and ricotta cheese. I loved it. Didn't have to wait. Everyone helps everyone so immediately had drinks. Only thing to note is that 20% tip is automatically included if you dine in. I think after everything I spent like 40 for 2 people. Parking: You will have to fight for parking. And walk most likely.
Really didn’t expect to write a two star review for this place, but here we are. Pizza I ordered—the Sicilia, if I remember correctly—was bland, watery, and chewy. The vegetable toppings, largely unseasoned, were congealed and slippery. It was the first time in months that I hadn’t finished the food on my plate—not because of my appetite, but the taste. All this for $15 not including tip or tax. Perhaps I ordered the wrong pizza, but my friends’ orders didn’t look much more appetizing. Much better off going to 90 Second Pizza for a cheaper and tastier pie. Servers were kind and helpful though.
We enjoyed this place. We had the wings and pizza. The pizza was good. They put tons of prosciutto on top. The wings were just okay. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great atmosphere. Pizza and alcohol. Nothing more, nothing less. You get exactly what you pay for. I had Bottarga pizza. The pizza dough was fresh and cooked expertly. The eggs were perfectly cooked into the pizza, the yolk remained run-y and delicate. Jose was very attentive to our table and made the dining experience pleasant.
Dinner on the go. Walked in without reservations and were easily seated on a Friday night for 5 people. Ordered 2 salads both very good and 2 Pizzas also very good. Quick and friendly. Good value. Would definitely recommend for a casual bite.
One of the best Pizzas in Washington. My husband is addicted to it .
Really good Margarietta pizza but they only had 1 wait staff for the floor. Not their fault, but I waited way too long for a refill on an 8-ounce glass of beer. Tiny glasses of beer while I read "eat pizza & drink beer" or something to that effect on staff shirts. Very small bar area for pickup orders. Oh and don't forget DC law adds 20% to your bill for staff equity but you can also add more on the check. I would go back because the pizza was great.
