Just horrible! Wish I can rate 0 stars. Your employee needs some serious attitude adjustments. She just said NO in a very rude way when I asked to get a coffee and then she said that the espresso machine is down. Well ma'am, I did not hear it the first time you said and you could be a little bit nicer about the situation. All I wanted was a coffee or hot tea before the movie. I don't really go to PJ's and that was my first visit in a while, but I doubt that I will ever visit any location again.
The guy that works here is the most laid-back barista I've ever met. The coffee tastes just like every other PJ'S I've had. Price's are the same too. If you like coffee from PJ'S then you'll like it here too.
Staff here is very friendly and the service is quick. Only a little space to sit on the immediate inside, however outside the store are plenty of tables and seats, both inside the mall corridor and outside on the patio to the open air. Great coffee as always.
The guy working there was very friendly although I didn't know what I really wanted he helped me out giving me ideas instead of like a lot of people just stand there like They have better things to do lol. Besides the coffees, the pastries are very good
Came in yesterday, no one was at the counter, girl was sitting at one of the tables in far back mumbling something, after about 3 minutes of waiting for someone to show up, the girl gets up from the table comes behind counter, doesn't greet me and just leans on top of the counter like she is annoyed by my presence. When i asked her to make an espresso she said " NOOO, I TOLD YOU THE MACHINE IS DOWN!"... In the most rudest and ignorant posture and rolled her eyes. she needs to be fired for speaking to customers in such disregard... if your machines are down, come up and make eye contact and say it nicely, but instead she chose to mumble from far side of the table and got annoyed because i wasn't listening to her. I would NEVER go to your location again if this is the type of people you hire to speak with customers.
My go to is usually Cafe Du Monde for a frozen coffee. It's Vietnamese level strong, it'll restart your heart, but then give you diabetes. Frozen coffee is not blended coffee, it's not a frappuccino. It's slow churned to have the consistency of an icee/slurpee with a nice crunch. Locals here told me to go to PJ's and get the granita. Y'all this is good! Wished it was slightly stronger, but the sweetness is just right. The employee told me that I can get it with even more of a crunch to it, I just have to request it Shout out to Where NOLA Eats for always pointing me io the right direction.
Colby the manager needs to be retrained. I brought in coffee today that didn't taste right and he began to make up a story about how "Corporate" has a new rule since August that once the coffee leaves the shop it cannot be replaced. I then called PJs corporate office and spoke to Lindsey who informed me there is no such rule and he should have replaced my coffee. The experience was terrible, especially since most of the Clearview staff knows me quite well, they know my order and they know I tip per drink. I'm waiting on a call from Greg and corporate. Again, Colby needs to be retrained. What disappointing managerial skills.
Was refused plain coffee and service at 8:50 after I parked and walked into store with blonde guy who took a really loooong time to greet me, altogether. I won't be back. This was my 1st & last visit. I'm new to New Orleans and I've seen the signs. PJ was my mother's initials. I was grieving her and thought it'd be cute to have a coffee at the place of her initials.....Tonight's experience was unsettling. Suggestion: lock your doors at 8:45 so no one will be made to jump to conclusions about why they may have been refused service.... I'm concerned.. He didn't even offer me a Danish or Cole.......
Today afternloon we went to the Clearview Mall. We went to PJ's and ordered an almond croissant and a vanilla iced coffee. The bill came to about $9.00. The croissant was old and tasted really bad. The coffee was equally bad. We have to go to another place and spend another $10 to have some decent bites and coffee. Avoid this place and save money.
My morning coffee stop. Great staff and locally owned/brewed coffee. Plus THEORY best blueberry muffins in NOLA even against other PJs. 5
