Low prices, good results. They have awesome back facials, scalp treatments/massages, hair cutting, manicures, etc. I haven't done the front facials yet. Students are watched over by the professionals so there are no mistakes. All staff/students have been nice. My mom and I love it. We go once a week at least.
I am so pleased with the results stylist Ellie was able to achieve with the specialty perm, and trim. I have long, graying hair and I showed her the picture for what I was hoping. She talked me through the process, asked questions, genuinely listened. The process took a while, as my hair is a little resistant, but she was so patient, and professional. Additomally, she took time to show and tell me how to care for my hair in the 72 hour space between perm and first wash and beyond. So many compliments on the outcome. And the price under $100! My last perm at a high end salon was over $250 and the results were less than marginal. I cannot recommend Ellie and PJ'S enough. I love my hair so much.
My foot doctor told me to keep my toe nails in the best shape so I had my first pedicure at PJ's. Hanna did a great job and I am happy with the price also.
Poor instruction to the students resulting in a dissatisfied customer. I do not recommend the Plainfield location. The equipment is outdated the mirrors were dirty and the student never introduced herself or made eye contact. Not to mention the poor quality hair style. The instructors never checked her work and I wasn’t given a mirror to look at the back of my hair. The student was clearly struggling and at no time did either of the 2 instructors coach or help her to fix the problem.
My daughter decided to chop all of her hair off! So even though my nerves were shot & I didn't want her to go through with it....she did! But the ladies here were awesome! Very supportive to me & completely supportive to her wants as well! It was a great experience & we'll be going back for sure The whole team worked together very well to make sure we was BOTH happy & satisfied
Amber did my hair with the help of Miss Tiffany! I am in love with my new hair! I can not wait to come back for another fun hair cut! Thank you ladies for making this a very fun visit! I will for sure be recommending you to all of my friends!
Im a student at pjs in brownsburg, and i can honestly say never choose pjs for school. The teachers are so bad. Ive has new teachers basically almost every month since i started at pjs. None NONE of the teachers know what they’re doing but Ms. Sam but sadly they let her go because they’re dumb & envious. They lost my hours and lost my progress. i’ve asked for my progress but yet they rather go from a progress report i found on my phone than actually look for the physical paper. I’ve been trying like crazy to get my transcripts for 1 month and i still haven’t achieved. but once i do im switching to a harold’s Beauty academy literally probably one of the best schools in indiana because pjs sadly isn’t the best at all.
I rarely get a good haircut the first time I go to a new salon. Elizabeth totally crushed it! Before starting, she consulted with her instructor. We made a few minor adjustments during the process. I hope Elizabeth was as pleased with my haircut as I was. I'm looking to my next haircut.
Great prices like better than other beauty schools BUT I felt like it was a job I could have done myself :/ The students are nice and definitely try, but the makeup application and brow wax I had done were just whatever. I will give them credit for their manicures though, that was pretty nice : Limited colors and limited supplies though, so bring your own stuff.
Excellent service. My go to for beauty services. Been going to this establishment for 22 years, have never had a problem. These students do an excellent job and deserve the upmost respect.
