PJS of Texas at San Antonio (Professional Janitorial Service)

As an employer, I thought this place was great. I'm a 30 year old accountant that needed a second job. I showed up, "interviewed", told them I can work hard, learn fast, and train on any technical work they do. The first paycheck comes after some delay but it's because they do monthly payrolls. Same way bi- weekly payroll works in general (work the pay period, then a week or 2 of processing then payday) . Everyone I encountered was friendly despite personality and background differences. I kept open communication with management and they were always kind and helpful. They were also always quick to accommodate the team if we were short staffed or had extra tasks come up. The pay is decent, the work is simple. The clocking in and out is done on paper time sheets for which I would just advise that you keep track of your time and verify the hours on your check. I never saw a problem but at this point, as an adult, it's good to check your and your employer's math when it comes to your income. There is always the possibility of human error.

Should be named Janitorial Service only because its not "Professional" at all. You will waste your Time. Energy. Effort. And be Miserable. And no it does not ever get better. You will be lied to. You will be underpaid for the amount of labor that you are expected to perform. When they are done with you they spit you out. Next? They want you on the floor on your knees scrubbing with a scrub pad. 1st pay takes about a month to receive and its a partial not full two weeks of pay either. No different than every other Tom Dick and Harry, janitorial companies same bs different named jacked up janitorial businesses in San Antonio! these worse are Hygiene Merit, or Maint. Inc of San Antonio! According to responses from our conducted survey. They all the same shat! Please like this review if you found this helpful! Very Unprofessional. Supervisors have no clue what supervisor is because they are just as unprofessional and give special treatment to the employees they are sleeping with. I was let go thru text message while I was on vacation. Then when you go to higher management they don't care. Worse company I have ever worked for. Don't waist your time especially if its a 2nd job for you. Not worth it.
