Take a look at the photos I have attached. As a brand new member paying $25 every 30 days + $50 fees, this is unacceptable to maintain a gym under these filthy conditions. This gym location violates several health codes and could be shut down permanently with one phone call. One phone call that will happen within 14 days if they do not get their act together. CLEAN UP THE MEN’S LOCKER ROOM!! And no, I’m not going to hunt down the general manager and tell them to do their job. They should know better! Next step: a city health inspector phone call. Final step: corporate executive offices
My workout went well. They are missing several snap hooks for the universal machines. All of the equipment works. It was not crowded. The staff was very friendly.
Let's go directly to the bad. What is bad about this gym? that doesn't have a free movement bench press as the same for the Squat rack. It only has a machine bench press and Squat, so if you are use to working more with free motion, this is a problem, BUT you can steal do the workout just fine. The other thing that i see for the gym to improve is that they can install a paper towel machine. Other than the previous sad everythingis great! Last but not least, i want to appreciate the small tour that Nate and his tema gave me. They were very friendly and nice, good work.
I love the professional and vibrant workers. They keep the gym clean, the machines working and a safe environment for women. The music is upbeat at all times and the environment truly keeps me motivated to keep working out. I've been going for 3-4 years and find it my home gym.
Excellent facility, most users are responsible and wipe down equipment after used. Members are friendly and conscious of times on machines. My only concern is that the locker room clean-up can sometimes use a little more help.
It’s fine. Nice gym. Typical planet fitness. I like the layout - nice and open. Clean. The only thing that I’m knocking stars off for are the hours. They need to make this location 24
Listen.... it's a convenient location but it's filthy and @planetfitness in silver spring needs to do better. It stinks from the time you walk in the door all the way to the men's lockers. The equipment is always out of place and the mirrors are filthy! I'm going to get my workouts in instead of sitting in traffic but this gym is like an alternative school for bad children. Smh.
Staff is apathetic and unapologetically unhelpful. Been coming here 3 months and it's not just one person or one shift. The entire staff acts like it's a personal offense to their name every time anyone has to check in. Tried to speak to a manager to modify my "home gym". It seemed to be an extraordinary issue to the employees that I live in Germantown and work in silver spring, and mainly use the silver spring location. There was not any managers available, not once but twice. So I tried to cancel my membership and apparently I can also only do that at my "home gym", so I will place a stop payment on my checking account for planet fitness and be done with. Not worth the hassle.
Except for being in the terrible parking lot of a dumpty strip mall, this is one of the best PF locations you'll find. The staff is helpful, the gym is clean, and they go all out decorating for the holidays.
All the treadmills are run down. You cannot safely run on these. When told all they said it is up to manangement as they are replaced every 5 years. Currently they are on year 4 and will not do anything about it. Most of the massage machines are broken and do not work much of the equipment has out of order signs. Worst planet fitness I have been at and they will not do anything about it
