It was closed. Went twice, rang the bell, no answer. Maybe another time.
Very intimate and intriguing. Visited for a Photography Club Of Philadelphia event, and everyone was so nice and accommodating! And the kicker- I passed by before and never knew what was inside, but it always looks so charming
It's the oldest art club crested for women in 1897. I submitted a piece for display.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I wish i could come more often. I come for the life drawing sessions. The models are always nice and professional and the timed poses are a good pace.
I just came across this place while doing photography in the neighborhood and as I found it the Photographic Arts Society a Philadelphia just happened to be starting a photography related event so I joined in. It seems like a pretty cool community in this art space and I look forward to becoming a member and joining in more of the activities and events.
Best art venue in Philly. Workshops held weekly.
An Historic cradle of the people's art!
