Pleasant Hill Lake Park (an MWCD Park)

As a disclaimer, I usually dont make a practice of doing bad reviews and at takes me a lot to do one. This needs to be said in hope that it doesn't happen to anyone else. They have already lost our business..... The people running this park play favorites with reservations for cabins. Good luck on advance reserving a cabin for peak times. They booked a cabin reservation for our party we were attempting to make a year in advance and then abruptly cancelled it because they claimed they had another family reserving those cabins. They did not care that we had confirmed booked first. They even took payment on a credit card for the reservation in advance They dont live up to their first come first serve policy. If they book a reservation for you, make sure you are prepared to possibly have it cancelled with no questions asked and no debate. If a family who they think deserves to have it over you books after you, get ready for a cancel of your reservation.... no matter if you book first or not. These type of practices are bad business.

My favorite lake in the area. Beautiful views, clean/well maintained camping sites, and the biggest swimming beach. Today we were there for Earth Day clean up, so we left it better than when we came.

Pleasant Lake should have more than a office star rating, both for it's facilities and it's employees. It's our home away from home during the spring, summer and fall months.

Been coming here since I was a kid, and I keep coming back. I love the beach setup as well as the fishing!

Have had our boat there last year and already paid for this year. Love it and all kinds of things for the entire family.
