I always eat the Del Rio plate for lunch. You may want to get there by 11:30 it does get pretty packed lunch time but the service is good the green salsa it's not as spicy as it used to be so I think that is a good thing for most people. They make scratch corn tortillas, the fajitas are good, they have a variety of drinks and the cheese enchiladas are excellent. I will add a picture the next time I eat there.
I got a chicken burrito, they give you tortilla chips with spicy but cold queso and salsa Didn't notice the salsa till I finished my meal. The food was okay, it was my first time there. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming.
Safe environment. Shoulder to shoulder customers at 6 pm weekday. Clean, new comfortable restaurant. Quality and quantity of food good. No flavor in what we ordered so 3 stars. Popular place so others like it.
Catered a medium sized event and I was just struck by how friendly and helpful Juan Manuel was throughout the whole experience. The food was very tasty, everyone enjoyed it, and we certainly had a huge amount left over. After comparing a few other places, Poblano's has a exceptional price point and the quality of the food was top notch. Would definitely recommend.
Been eating their breakfast burritos for the last 5 years regularly. Amazing how, the taste and quality has stayed the same. They use real eggs or egg whites, refried beans, potatoes and onions. Their red and green sauces are unbelievable. Only down side, is the wait time. But, they do it as I like - so I don't mind.
Sadly I can't give a positive review. Sat down to eat and five gents sat next to me, cranked their phone to max volume to watch a soccer game. I politely asked the manager to intervene and he declined so I offered to take my food to go. It sounds simple and I get them choosing a table of 6 over a table of 1 but I won't be going back. *sigh*
Decent sit down mexican restaurant with reasonable prices. Located in the Tunnel. Its not going to be the best mexican food you've ever had but you wont be disappointed with what you get or with how much it costs. If you are getting togo, head strait to the register, if you would like to stay for awhile grab a seat and flag down a server if no one gets too you right away. I ordered the combination Taco and Fajita enchiladas. Taste was good, taco shell was fresh. Rice was a little weak on the spices but beans were good. Enchilada wasnt stuffed but enough to fill me up and they use queso blanco if you ask for it instead of red sauce.
One of the better mexican restaurants in the area. Only reason its not a 5 star is the wait. They should expand as every day they are packed solid. The burrito is amazing, and so is the tortas. I have seen the soup and ceviche, but have yet to try it. I always go here when I have meetings upstairs.
The red salsa is amazing. Excellent service and staff. Food is great, high quality meats and fresh ingredients. Barbacoa is very good. Tortillas are made fresh.
Just arrived to DT Houston. Looked for my first Mexican Restaurant. Showed good reviews. Food was bland and seemed dry like it was reheated. Staff took my order but pretty much ignored me after. Green sauce was tasty!
