Their food is really good...i just love it so I drive an hour from Tuscaloosa just to eat at times ..the only complaint I have is they need to change their Sunday hours ...because it says they closes at 8 and i have went earlier and they are not open...

We have been here a few times, the food and service have been consistently excellent. Being from LA it’s nice to have some authentic Mexican food around the Birmingham area.

So this is a place I found on Yelp. It is a hole in the wall. It is also where a lot of Mexicans come from to get roasted chicken w all the fixins. At one time, you might have found Tony Bourdain having a cervace and some roast chicken. I love the Cole slaw. The chicken is roasted to perfection. The line never stopped and we saw a lot of Mexican construction workers because it is inexpensive as well. Come and enjoy authentic Mexican food from Gusave, Mexico!

Delicious Grilled chicken. Good and fast service. Good prices.

Excellent food can’t go wrong eating here it the real deal people, they tend to run out in the evening, it’s that good.

This place is pretty amazing. Great food at an amazing price.. was not disappointed. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is spot on. Won't hesitate to return.

It's not bad but it wasn't anything special. They do a great job with their chicken but otherwise its just so so, not bad, but nothing you could not get anywhere else. We had to wait for our to go order for about 20 minutes but they were very busy. I had the fajita plate with rice and beans. the steak and chicken were good, the beans are very thin and watery. CAUTION: they apparently cook most of their food in peanut oil so those with allergies beware!

Chicken always good even when your meal is just sort of kinda the friendly service override the bad day. I'm a regular since they opened. Guacamole is fresh and deliciously made to order!

I love chicken. One of my favorite spots to purchase fast food chicken was El Pollo Loco in Atlanta. I was so sad when they closed. I visited Pollo Lucas for the first time today. Their grilled chicken is delicious. The flavor and seasoning go all of the way through the meat. Nothing taste worst than unseasoned chicken. This restaurant is reminiscent of he Atlanta restaurant that closed. I am so glad to know that this option is available when I'm craving chicken.

Fourth visit to this casual chicken restaurant. Staff always friendly and food is tasty and promptly delivered, whether dining in or carry out. Order the rice and beans with your savory grilled chicken and hot tortillas. Take advantage of the salsa bar to brighten your dinner. My employer even ordered carry out for a large group, which was enjoyed by all!
