The drive thru is a long wait and the chicken was alright. It’s not disgusting nor delicious, I got a spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken was crispy and juicy. It was just too salty for me and didn’t like the salty taste. The rice and beans was bland, it just tastes like nothing. The mashed potatoes was good! I like the gravy and it has flavors that my tongue enjoyed. It wiggled, wiggled… the biscuits was dry like the savanna dessert. You can choke on them bisc! The fried chicken was crispy and dry. I was disappointed like a fat kid didn’t get a birthday cake on his own birthday! There was no meat and it was chewy like I was snapping into a slim Jim. It did had a spicy kick and it was crispy. That’s about it…. All skin and bones no meat. Don’t get me started with those tiny as$ drumsticks. Besides that good customer service and was very friendly.
Bought a combo with 2 large sides. The top is what they gave us. Went in and bought a large fry and the bottom is what they gave me. The additional side paid for was completely missing. This place is always busy and the drive through is anywhere from a half to full hour wait, even if ordering online. I don't understand how they can be that busy and still get cold food... Love Popeyes but I wish we had more and/or better ones here.
1st time here recommended by my brother in-law he said we had to try the chicken Sandwich really good this is a real chicken sandwich not like other fast food places.
Ordered on the App but still waited 40 minutes in the drive thru, they were out of Spicy chicken so we settled for mild and got home to 10 miniature pieces of chicken. All dried up. Save your money and don’t waste your time. Popeyes is not the same here in Albuquerque. Makes me miss Texas even more!
Popeyes always has a long line, not ideal for lunch breaks. The drive thru line was long so I went inside. The lobby wasn't clean crumbs and trash on tables also there had been a few guests waiting for their orders for 40 minutes before I arrived. Everyone was complaining and the manager blew it off and did nothing to correct or apologize for the delay. I had waited about 10 minutes for my order which I was thankful for but they skipped everyone that was before me. Unfortunately they got my order wrong and I didn't feel like waiting to correct it. It's fast food and everyone is experiencing staffing issues but they need organization. It's good food but the experience ruins it.
Slow, slow service. One of the employees was having a coughing fit in the middle of the restaurant. My red beans and rice were only half full. Was not given a spork to eat them with so I had to go back up and wait for someone to notice me and get one. Took over 20 minutes to get the food in the first place. Not worth it. Also, the new Beignet desert pastries are terrible. They taste like jelley stuffed cardboard.
The wait at this location is embarrassing and uncalled for. The inability to fill orders in a timely fashion is 100% lost. Whomever owns this locations needs to figure it out. I’ve worked in food for many years and there’s no reason why this store is constantly unable to fill orders. I thought I could get around the 2 hour wait in the drive through by ordering a pick up and scheduling it ahead of time. I scheduled it for 4:45p. I arrived early 4:40p and went into the lobby. I was promptly kicked out of the lobby because tHe lObBy iSnT oPeN. So now I have been waiting in line for 20 minutes and the only reason the line has moved is because cars are abandoning the line due to the wait, not because people are being helped and their orders filled. It’s 10 minutes past when I should have my food picked up with no hope to ever actually receiving my order. Edit to add: an hour after my arrival is when I received my food and it was incorrect and short a lot of food.
I don't know why I was staring at piles of chicken for a mobile order for over 30 minutes, for two orders of nuggets, and a sandwich. I'll never patronize this store personally. I saw customer after customer come back into the store after going through the drive-through, who had mistakes with their orders. Missing biscuits, cold chicken, wrong order provided. I had to begin letting people know while I waited 45 minutes, that this place was not going to provide service in under 30 minutes. Many people's entire lunch period. Worst possible service. Go to churches, they don't even have greens. Save the time, go somewhere else! During this whole time, they were fully crewed. Just had no one preparing the orders. Employees were on break, manager was not responsive to handle overrides as one man waited over 20 minutes just to pay for his meal because their system didn't like his credit card. I'm against Popeyes 100%!!!!
Messed my order up took 15mins to find my order then my fries are just thrown in the bag no container no wrapper nothing just thrown in there. We all know Popeyes never been customer service type but dam the fries raw-dawging my bag
I’m not sure how this place is able to stay in business. The drive through line is ridiculously long…just as others have posted. I waited for more than 45 minutes and received a order that was missing items. I ordered a 12 piece with two sides….spent $34.00. When I arrived home only 9 pieces were included in the order 3 breasts were missing…interesting that it was the most costly items that were missing and the sides were not what was ordered. The lady at the drive through window, who was very friendly BTW,…I will give them that…actually correctly read my order back to me. Upon arriving home and discovering the incorrect order, I attempted to call the store four times to no avail. The phone rings and disconnects after a few seconds…no opportunity to leave a message. I don’t plan to ever go back, but my elderly parents are from Louisiana and enjoy occasionally eating Popeyes chicken…I purchased the chicken for them. The owners seriously needs to get their act together, because this place is being managed into the ground. I would urge the public to avoid this place until the service improves or the location is under new management.
