Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

There is ALWAYS a long extended wait. There is ALWAYS an issue with the chicken supply. No Fresh food. Today the chicken was cooked in burnt/old grease. And my daughter and I were willing to wait the final 12 minutes for fresh food. However, the food was not fresh, no biscuits burnt looking chicken. I'm not sure what's going on but this tour of service is happening at various locations. Quality customer service has really reached an all time low. Really wanted our money back but we had to pick up children from school. Features: No social distance.

I waited in the drive through line for over 30 minutes. Lobby was locked. Each car took at least 5 minutes at the ordering speaker. Person taking orders was difficult to understand. First words were, “Did you order?” At least I think that was what she said. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. I think she may have said “exact change only” but again I’m not sure. I used a credit card. The sandwich was not great. It tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The chicken was dry and did not come close to filling the bun. The pickle had softened and lightened the breading on the chicken piece — because it had been made so long ago. Of course there were no napkins in the bag. No receipt either. No communication at the window at all. And the little spinner window thing was filthy. This was at the location on Capitol, but the one on National is just as bad if not worse. I keep saying I won’t go back to any Popeyes because every single one in the Milwaukee area is like this. They are either slow as molasses or are out of what you want to order which you find out after you have sat in the line for 20 minutes or more. I don’t know how this chain is staying open with this kind of service. I guess it’s because people like me like fried chicken and keep hoping the next time will be better. I’m out of hope though. No more chances, Popeye.

This Popeyes only gets 2 stars bc Popeyes is always delicious regardless. But if you go here, you'll wait 15 minutes in the drive through even if you're the only one in line, and they are commonly out of everything. It's noon on a Thursday. They're out of all sandwiches, they are all out of nuggets. You can order a 2 piece or an 8 piece. Also they're out of ranch. They will be out of something you want, every time you go there. But again, Popeyes is ALWAYS delicious. Their manager just needs to order the right supplies and either hire more people or teach them how long a drive thru should take. Additionally, the team is often unfriendly. I don't really care about the friendliness myself, as long as they have the chicken in stock. Today's drive thru visit I was the only car in the drive thru, and my transaction took about 12 minutes.

Sat in drive thru for 20 mins. Finally get to the order station and was told that they don't have any chicken left. Asked what do they have and customer service rep says they are closing right now and don't have any food at all to sale. It's 9:04 and they don't close until 10:00 per the time on the payment window. Just ridiculous.

Congrats to this location.. Wish i could give you zero stars.. Half of the food I wanted to order, they did not have in stock. Menu located behind the counter to use to select from was broken. I placed my order to go and after driving home for 20 minutes, i realized NOT ONE DAMN thing was right.. Even the soda was wrong, and staff was giving me dirty looks and not sure why, other than I am deaf and had issues communicating, but was NEVER rude about it.. I used to be such an avid fan of Popeye's, but dear corporate, tear this trash shack down and rebuild it up to what your standards used to be, and why can other food places find good employees and you end up with everyone else's rejects ?

This place has good chicken but the service and wait times make it the worst place to go to all locations. A rude attitude must be a requirement to work there.Food: 3/5

Waiting in line for 20 mins was ok. The manager was nice even though she was working the restaurant by herself. I new she was exhausted by looking at her. *****

Today I went to two different Locations of Popeyes and the line was long and they didn't have no chicken ready customer service was very poor. Popeyes is not the same ever since the pandemic.

The ripping chicken was horrible. When I got home my red beans and rice had spilled all over the inside of the box. I returned to the restaurant for a refund and was told there was nothing they could do. When I asked for the 800 number they told me I would have to google it. This was by far the poorest customer service I have received in a long time. I was very disappointed. I am awaiting a call from the customer complaint line.

Food was horrible tasted like it sat under the heat lamp all day skin was crunchier than a bag of Crackling. Also had a burnt after taste I definitely won’t be going there again
