No chicken, no shrimp; poor attitude by guy taking orders in drive through. Car ahead of me sat 11 minutes to get response for order. I sat additional six minutes to be told multiple items not “dropped” for day after 1-2 hours open. Lobby closed. Zero stars is probably generous, but was forced to give star rating to post…
Only the drive through is ever open, which would be fine, but I'm not exaggerating when I say it takes 10+ minutes for a single car to get through. Once sat for 20 minutes without moving behind 4 cars before deciding to drive away, only to see two Popeyes employees walking over nonchalantly from McDonald's. I genuinely think they left the store in the middle of the day and left all the signs on. On top of all of this, when you do manage to make it through the drive through line an hour later the chicken is rubbery like they've been drying under a lamp all day, the bread is hard as a rock, and the fries are soggy and room temperature. This is a repeated experience every. single. time. Since COVID hit. I understand staffing shortages but none of the other fast food joints in this area seem to have this problem.
Awful service. It's lunch time on a Saturday and no one is working! They operate drive-thru only. Sat in line a full 15 minutes and they didn't take one order. Every car started to leave the line. I tried my luck at the speaker and after being told "one moment" I left after another five minutes. Not the first time it's happened at this location. They are also out of items every time you arrive. I've yet to have a sweet tea from this location in the 3 visits I did get my food
The chicken tasted like it was old and actually looked old. From possibly two days ago, like, Oh let's just reheat this! Only one person working, which explains why it was so slow. Poor lady did her best but the food was gross. The biscuits were burnt because it was recooked also. They didn't have the Ghost pepper wings, I was told they are discontinued indefinitely, I asked for honey and hot sauce and I was told they didn't have any. I asked for the new beignets, which they had an advertisement for it outside and of course they didn't have any. The macaroni and cheese was also old tasting and had 2 big globs of cheese on the bottom of the cup and the top. I haven't been to this location or any Popeyes restaurant in months because the food is gross, old tasting, slow service, or lack of everything and as soon as I decide to try them again because "it's 1pm and it should be alright at this time" boy was I wrong. I'm done and now I feel guilty that I cheated on my fast with this garbage. Total .
I love a place that pretty much only serves one thing, chicken, and they don’t have any. The waits are awful. I go to the one on Miller parkway if I go. 3 cars in line means at least 30 minutes ! They can only do one order at a time. Once the car in front of you had their food, then they take another order. So sad, I love their chicken!
Waited in drive through line for 30 mins to order. Only 3 cars ahead of me, got up to order and they only had nuggets, biscuits and grilled chicken breast. As the other reviewers said, lobby was closed. No signs posted on door or anywhere about closed lobby or no food. Don’t waste your time .
So unbelievably upset, first time at a popeyes; waited 40 minutes. Was told seven minute wait for my chicken sandwich at the window, then 20 extra minutes for my tenders while being pulled upfront. Didn’t even get my mashed potatoes, receipt, or tenders; absolutely never going again. UPDATE: my order total was $26, i gave them $12 cash and the rest on card; they charged my card $26 and kept the cash!
I Made an online order at this location thinking I would get better/ quicker service after waiting for 30 min & 6 cars infront and behind pulling off I get to the speaker I tell her I placed a order and my name. She proceeds to tell me someone picked up my order and how that has nothing to do with her so she guess it’s my loss. Very upset with her attitude and response I pull to the window. Beeped my horn a few times for service and was completely ignored. The manager comes to the drive through window register still ignoring me but plugs in her cellphone and proceeds to to not do her job! Never was helped by anyone. 10 minutes later after wondering what was going on I was handed food. I asked the very unprofessional and poorly groomed lady what her name was because she had NO name tag idk if she even had her uniform on. I believe she came to work in dirty pajamas and didn’t even brush her hair which isn’t how an establishment should be represented. From attitude to appearance. The owner of this Popeyes should really reevaluate their night shift crew. ASAP
Waited almost an hour to even order just to be told they had nothing but mild chicken and coleslaw. Ridiculous. Who manages this restaurant?? Why is it that every time I come here y’all are out of everything. I’ve come several different occasions and have been told y’all are out of chicken! This restaurant needs help! Don’t even bother calling the phone either. It’s disconnected. And doors are locked.
Ordered through GrubHub. Took over 2 hours for delivery. Driver sat in drive through lane for 1½ hours. Took 10 - 20 minutes for each car. When I got the order I was shorted 4 items and got the incorrect sauces. Total disappointment. Gave 2 stars only because the good I did get tasted good.
