Jerry is great. He is fast, communicative and fair. I had him install large mirrors into my fitness facility and he had it done within 1.5 weeks .. all the other companies said it would take 2 months and had ridiculous prices!!! Highly recommend Port City
I had the best experience with Port City Glass this spring! I had Certainteed windows and the seals were bad in almost every single window in my house. They were under warranty, but the labor wasn't. I called around to many glass companies in the area and I either got a sky- high quote or the companies just didn't want to do the job if they weren't getting the credit for the materials. Within the first few seconds of my phone conversation with Jerry, I knew he was going to treat me well. He went above and beyond and the price was such a deal! He also fixed my door while he was at the house. He had all the new pieces of glass installed that day. I couldn't be happier. Such a sweet and trustworthy guy too...personable and great with kids and my goofy dog. My husband was so impressed when he got home. Give Port City a call, you won't be disappointed!
Jerry was amazing, I was not sure the best route to take with my windows. With his experience he guided me to an outcome I thought could never be possible with my old restaurant. He was able to also install my commercial double doors. Jerry was fast with service, and not afraid to travel to Peaks Island! I am thankful the Island Lobster Company restaurant’s front entrance was updated and didn’t beak the budget!!! Great work!!!
I had an emergency situation. A bedroom window got broken in November. I called around to a bunch of places and none had openings for at least four days. Portland Glass said they could put me in for an "emergency call" but it would be two hundred dollars just for them to walk through the door, not even including labor or materials. They said their regular appointments were booked out for months. Finally, I decided to give Port City Glass a try. I was a little worried at first because an answering machine picked up, but I decided to leave a message anyway. Within the hour, an employee returned my call. I explained the situation and he said he could be there in a half hour. He quickly took the window out and brought it back to his shop to fix it. He was back about an hour and a half later to put the new window back in. It was an awesome experience all around. I was stressed out all morning because I had no idea what I was going to do. Then Port City came along and saved the day. The job was fairly cheap too, especially compared to Portland Glass. It cost about 1/3 of what they would've charged. If you ever find yourself in a dire situation with a broken window, definitely go to Port City Glass first. They really care about their customers and give great service!!
I put my arm through my window in the middle of January and called Portland Glass to come fix it. They told me it would be a MONTH before someone could come out. Not wanting to lose a fortune to heating costs, I found Port City Glass. They came out to my house within the hour and had me all fixed up in just a couple hours time. The pricing/cost is very fair and honestly could charge more based on how quick they were. I highly recommend them over any other glass repair in the area. Would give 6 stars if I could.
WOW! That was fast and efficient. I had a problem with my mirrors rubbing together and chipping at the edges. Jerry came up with a solution to prevent further damage and now they look great. Thanks Jerry. Your service was beyond expectations.
