Port Royale Marina

Very enjoyable visit to PRM... Nice Marina with boat rental.. Pretty large area with a lot of docking for the boat people who stop here for a rest break or to visit their nice full service restaurant Pelican Pete's.. The entire staff is polite and professional. They have 2 parking lots.. The smaller , closer lot is all a full.. You will a short walk if you can not park in the small lot.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Charge you to store your boat, at full price, all winter in dry stack, charge you to winterize your boat and then say it’s not their job to make sure the boat is in running condition in the spring. And when you question them about why they wouldn’t be responsible for checking boats in the spring, they say is not what they do and a lot of boats sink because the plugs aren’t in them. Are you kidding me?? Their repair manager stated that the battery was dead but he “couldn’t get the boat to start.” And he’s the repair manager but he doesn’t know that if the battery is dead, you either charge it or replace it. I will be finding a new marina on lake lanier where they actually know to run a marina and don’t use the excuse that they have “over 500 boats to take care of” for why they can’t provide basic customer service to people who pay top dollar for boat storage and service.

Had good time. Like the set up of the little water/splash area for the kids. Their boats are new and clean. Rhey jave a restaurant. We didn't eat there but it was packed so that may be an indication that it is good.

Best marina on the lake bar none. Food is the only exception. Pig tales and fishtales are the best places to eat on the lake.

Ate at Pelican Pete's for the first time and it won't be my last. Loved the laid back atmosphere, excellent service, food was delicious. Can't wait to go back...
