Portage Lakes Marine

Dropped my boat off to see what was needed to hook up controls. Said they were to call before any work was done to the boat to get the ok. Got a call next day with a quote for the work needed. Then proceeds to give me an invoice for $168.00 because the decided to test the engine and changed the lower unit fluid which I never asked for and had planned on doing myself. I was warned by a few ppl to not take my boat there but being close I thought I was safe. I would never take anything back there.

The absolute best in Service, and a true pleasure to do business with. They've always made every service experience the most pleasant it could possibly be. Some boat dealers sell a ton of boats, only to offer long service delays. Not Portage Lakes Marine! The reason for my 5 Star rating???? They didn't have 6

I took my boat in because there was a short in the electrical. He told me he would fit me in and give me a call. I called in a week later and was told he would get me in the following day. I stopped by two days later and the store was closed and never received a call. They identified the issue but were not able to fix it two weeks later.
