Portent

I have been using Portent for years. The essentials package, I have recommended to at least 5 of my fellow business owners who have also signed up. We have all noticed an increase in my business. I keep in constant contact with my representative, and increase my spend and decrease as needed to manage my work flow. I have been a client for many years and highly recommend them. I read some of the other reviews and checked my own change history. I had 459+ changes on my account in a 4 month period. I think that's well done for a small volume account. Again, I recommend Portent highly.

Portent worked with our company to provide services for a re-branding. Our Marketing team worked with a small accounts person at Portent (this unnamed person STILL works at Portent). This person had a month or so to work with our team in preparation for the cut-over. After kicking off the project, Portent went AWOL during the key preparation times, leaving us completely out to dry. Portent's contact LITERALLY did not respond to emails for weeks during this time. On launch day, Portent remained AWOL. I had to contact a different employee at Portent who I knew through a personal connection. That other employee escalated the matter, and the small accounts team hurriedly and haphazardly tried to rush through their checklist... ON THE DAY OF THE LAUNCH. It was a disaster. To add insult to injury, they still asserted that they were entitled to payment for their "work". This was, without question, the worst vendor experience I've ever had in my professional career. Hiring Portent was a mistake that I'll never be making again, and I'll be sure to inform any and all interested parties the same. Steer clear, you won't regret it.

Tim and the Team at Portent have been great to work with. I have a background in Internet Marketing, SEO and PPC and as the Director of Digital Marketing here at Kinetic, I am pleased with the work they've done. We started off with some larger projects as well as an audit to make sure the campaigns we had created were on par and to shave anything under-performing. After that we continue to use Portent to manage our PPC efforts and give baseline monitoring. We;'re happy with the level of communication and timeliness of work completed.

I could not be happier with Portent's Small Business offerings. I was skeptical at first but did some research and ultimately took the plunge. I like that they offer month to month and no yearly lock in contracts like some agencies do. The team is extremely responsive, make valuable suggestions but also listen and provide guidance. I tend to be a little bit of a control freak and working with the team over there has eased my concerns as I know they are on top my account. I would gladly recommend their services to folk.
