Portland Athletic Club

Terrible experience here. The equipment is old an unsafe. I had the end cap of a barbell fall off mid-rep, which luckily didn't cause injury. The whole place has a weird smell from the gymnastics program that dominates the basketball court (which you won't be able to use, along with many other "included" amenities). In general, this place is old and gross and the owner doesn't care.

Friendly staff but the places needs to be torn down or renovated. Bad.

I enjoy taking lessons from Anthony. He doesn't change technique immediately. He spends time watching your current style of playing and then make necessary adjustments. You will know the different when the "L" (loses) become "w" (wins).

I really like PAC. I moved away from tennis some years ago but I find the cardio and weight facilities to be exactly what I am after and very much to my liking. I've found the staff to be responsive and friendly, the hours are well suited to my schedule, and the charges very reasonable. A very good club.

I love the indoor tennis courts at Portland Athletic Club. The surface is great and very well lit. Also, they have a great work out area, so I can get a work out in as well. There is lots of staff around to help and answer questions. If you play tennis, this is a great club.
