Went for HIV and STI testing. My entire experience was great. When I entered the security guard was very pleasant and helpful. The wait was NOT long. I did come when they just had opened. In an out in less than an hour. I was seen by TY who was amazing and very informative. I definitely recommend this location for testing especially HIV testing which came back in 60 seconds. Depending on your income testing is free. I believe HIV is free either way.
They saved my life with all their programs they have. By far, this is one of the best places in the ATL. No place is perfect, but Positive Impact will address any issue if one files a grievance or report a problem etc. I have been with them 6 years and their programming services and vision to provide cutting edge services make Positive Impact a strong leader in Metro ATL and they keep expanding and evolving!
Today I’m giving 5 stars to Jamal Coordinator he is exceptional very intelligent and professional. Every time I come I have a great experience. He will definitely lift up your spirits and make you laugh. I would recommend this location.
I came in here after a really long day and feeling pretty stressed but after just 5 minutes of speaking with Counselor James I felt a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I think he just knew by the look on my face that I just wasn't there mentally. They were all so patient with me. I ended up at the wrong location and Ms Regina came and found me... she was hilarious and very respectful. The NP she took me to was Ms. Robin and she was super knowledgeable. I definitely can say that I'd recommend this center to anyone. Everyone is super friendly, patient and on time plus the counselors advice was spot on and refreshing. If you suffer from depression or just need someone to talk to... this is the right fit for you. #thankful Simple things I appreciated: cleanliness: the security guard went around spraying and sanitizing frequently. There was a lady handing out candies to everyone. It's the things you do when you don't think anyone's watching that counts the most for me.
I came here and had a good experience... Idk what would make a bad experience. I didn't even have insurance...Maybe they were broke and had no insurance... Every review should be 5 stars...
The absolute worst facility for mental health services. Called about services, left a voicemail, and received a call back 2 weeks later. Set up an appointment and no one showed up. I called about 5 times during my appointment time and they were finally able to find someone to do my intake. I was assigned a therapist and scheduled an appointment for the next week. On the day of my appointment, she called and said she had to reschedule. I told her I had no other available time during this week, so she said we could keep the appointment. She never showed. I called her 3 times, left a voicemail, and never got a call back. If you want MORE stress to deal with, this place is for you.
I've been here a couple times for testing. They offer free HIV testing and free STI testingif you qualify. The staff is always very welcoming and kind. Aminta took care of me last visit. She was absolutely fabulous and definitely helped calm my nerves! I would definitely recommend Positive Impact for testing services!
Very very very great experience, Charlie was amazing, quick and efficient. He also was very knowledgeable about his work. The energy is unmatched, every one is nice and friendly and very welcoming. Quick and easy testing, no hassle, and fast results. Some results you will get same day.
I’ve been coming here since I moved to Atlanta and they are truly wonderful! Emily and Andreas were super helpful recently along with William and Charlie! Thanks y’all. Thank you for what you do for our community and making us feel appreciated and safe!
Nothing but good things to say. Since we have moved on with covid the customer service and patient care are back to being great.
