The sandwich and soup turned out ok. The service I received was not professional and I literally could not understand what the lady behind the counter was saying to me. At some point the entire ordering experience was lost in translation. The group of female employees were more concerned with there conversation than serving me. I clearly stated I wanted lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and hot peppers on my sandwich. When my sandwich was being wrapped I asked about the onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles-the young lady said I didn’t ask for any. Instead of being confrontational I repeated what I wanted on my sandwich. But wait, it gets worse. The cashier gets my order and ask if I need anything else, I didn’t. I pay with my credit card and I look back at the cashier after standing there for 10 seconds and she says “what!?!?!” to which I replay “my receipt” she hand me the receipt with an attitude then walks away as it I’m the one who has a problem. Really? This was on Wednesday October 16 at approximately 15:15hr. I really hope someone from corporate reads this. New training or a refresher course in customer service is needed ASAP.
Food was good, but mediocre maybe a 3 star. But the service was a good 5. Friendly staff and quick service. We sat upstairs to eat which was fun and nice. The kids enjoyed the patio seating. Clean and interesting environment too.
came her specifically to get a local deli experience in DC and I got it!! The wreck sandwich was fantastic!! Thanks to some horseradish sauce that put it over the top it was a great lunch on a cold DC day. Thanks!! I loved it
Love the sammies here. Lots of options. Breakfast too. The Voodoo chips are incredible. Cookies and dream bars for dessert. And don't forget the milkshakes Great staff at this location too

I got a mushroom melt on flatbread which is my usual sandwich. It was very good. The restaurant is clean the service is fast and friendly. Good place to grab a sandwich for lunch. I would have given them five stars but sometimes they don't have some of the fixings for your sandwich.
One of the better options to get a good, quick, and cheap bite to eat in the Gallery Place/Arena area. They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads and soups. Not a lot of seating, especially for groups bigger than 4. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
Great place to get sandwiches right near George Washington University. They have many places to sit and there’s usually not a long waiting line. I definitely recommend the Pizza Sandwich and the A wreck sandwich filled with meats. They have a case of drinks as usual. Definitely recommend this place. Very fulfilling and friendly staff.
Always reliably good, never too busy to serve you in a timely fashion, and boasting a clean, pleasant atmosphere. The staff in all Potbelly shops seem to be very well trained and have excellent customer service skills. Not 5 stars only because it's a sandwich and salad shop, not a fancier restaurant! :-
This location has terrible service in the mornings. They are often still setting up despite being open already for an hour and more concerned with those tasks than serving the 1 or 2 customers in the store. It's common to find one door still locked and sometimes coffee isn't even made yet. Which you'll find out after paying for the coffee. The staff borders on rude and looks like they don't want to be there. I don't recommend this location.
