Small, but beautiful. The sounds of chirping birds and flowing water are free from the noise of traffic. The boardwalk offers a nice view of the wetlands and the mountains in the distance. Birds willing to come close to people on the boardwalk railing makes for a good picture.
Nice little walk area to enjoy the birds, or in our case, a moose.
On a lucky hot Alaskan summer day you may be lucky to see an abundance of natural wildlife on your walk.
Nice board walk that sits above the marsh. Totally wheelchair accessible, though a little bumpy. Depending on your timing, birds, salmon, and perhaps other wildlife can be seen. There are little info boards spanning the board walk as well as some little telescopes.
I love going here because it is never crowded. Something new to see every time. Throughout the year, the scenery changes. So going to get steps in or take a look at the wildlife, you will not be disappointed.
Very close to Anchorage. Abundant birds and wild life. Excellent volunteer staff! One came and offered binoculars to use during my visit.
Easy walk. There is a bathroom here. It's free. Saw a female moose with 2 calves. Geese with gosling's. Some sort of secondary nesting bird. Heard a woodpecker. Aside from noisy humans, this is a wonderful spot to enjoy nature.
Great wildlife viewing area with a nice boardwalk foe easy walking.
