Potters' Depot

Historic Buffalo Railway Depot has been renovated into 3 main areas: 1. A workshop for teaching pottery. 2. The gallery for displaying & selling finished work. 3. Private living quarters. Near the Clear Creek Trail, the Potters' Depot is one block off of Main Street, in Buffalo, WY. Bonnie has a very nice selection of handmade wares, from a variety of artists. Although the RR tracks were pulled up decades ago, the pathway along Clear Creek provides some humorous insights into the Wyoming Railroad's operating challenges. Referred to as the “Buffalo to Clearmont and back maybe,” the train often derailed. Now the walkway along the creek is scenic and relaxing. During their Summer hours, an excellent Icecream and fudge shop can be found, at a convenient round trip strolling distance, from the Depot. Pottery lessons, custom blend glazes, and beautifully finished pottery that feels lighter than it looks, earns this gallery a prime place on gift shopping map. My personal favorite pieces are the God Pods --- special containers to help unburden your soul. Try one on!

Bonnie is a wonderful potter and her shop/studio/ Gallery are a great experience not to miss in Buffalo, Wyoming
