It’s pretty good. Bunch of kids working there, they are doing a pretty good job. It wasn’t terribly expensive. Basically I do $20 a kid and it’s a good hour - hour and a half of fun. The bathroom was clean. It’s pretty dark in the game area so no telling if that’s clean or not. No dead bodies anyway. It felt safe and my kids are young. They have a bouncy house area set aside for the really young kids and I thought that was pretty cool.
This place is awesome! So much fun! Go Carts, rides like tilt a whirl, a roller coaster, bumper cars, carousel and Ferris wheel. They also have a zip line and lots of games! Oh and good too!
I went with Power Play for my kiddos 11th birthday. We had just moved to the metro and I wasn’t sure if I could put together the party I’d like to in the timeframe I had. I was absolutely over the moon with how great everything was. We brought our own birthday cake, so we opted for the extra pizza’s, and my kids adored it. Below is what we had included in our package. For less than $300 My kiddos were able to play, ride the rides, enjoy the arcade games, eat pizza, and I was able to enjoy it with them because the awesome staff at Power Play did all of the hard work. I didn’t include a lot of pictures because I am not inclined to share pictures with other people/kids online. The website has a lot of information and pictures to help parents make selections. I also want to point out that we ended up reserving our party over the phone and they were awesome about it. I had less than two weeks to plan this and they helped me make it happen. We will absolutely frequent Power Play again!! ELITE BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGE – 2 Hour Party 45 minutes in private room & arcade play time to follow – Single-sized Party Room – Dedicated Party Hero during the private room time – 10 PlayCards with choice of 4 Attractions & 60 Power Points – 10 Goodie Bags – 2 Large Pizzas & 10 Cupcakes bring your own dessert & receive 2 more pizzas – 2 Pitchers of Soft Drinks – "Happy Birthday" Plates, Cups, Napkins, Utensils in primary colors – Souvenir Coloring T-shirt – Birthday Child Surprise – 10 Thank You Notes

A lot of fun for grandkids. Tons of fun things to do! Roller coaster, tilt a wirl, bumper cars & all kind of games. Funnel cakes is a huge bonus!
This place was so cool! Took the kids here and indoor games are awesome. Rides and plenty activities! Go kart and zip line are outside so when it's raining don't expect to go on those rides. But everything was awesome. They have great deals!!!
We used to like it here. But honestly the prices have gone up so much and the people who come here are pretty trashy. Don't be surprised if they try to pick a fist fight with you over something ridiculous. It would help if the employees here would keep their guests in line but they just ignore all the drama. We left because the women wanted to pick a fight over our table. North Kansas City in general has gone so downhill. That's why we only visit once every few years. Main event is much better.
I hadn't been since they where in Kansas so it had been some years. We went on New Years Eve and I was very disappointed. A bunch of young kids running the place. A few where kind but most of em where like zombies and didn't make eye contact or even say a word. Most of them just seemed annoyed that we even had the audacity to speak to them. Their website says one thing but you get there and it's something completely different than what their website says. My 8 year did the go karts and she wrecked. Her helmet went flying off her head at impact. Thank goodness the seat belt held her into place or it would have been all bad. We had to wait over an hour for that awful experience. Also there are zero signs to tell you where to go for the go karts or what you need to do. The Zipline wasn't open even tho it was a beautiful 55 degree day. That's why we went was for the Zipline. No where on the website did it say it was closed nor anywhere at the front desk. The whole place just looked dirty and dingy too. They need to close for a day or 2 and do a good deep clean of the whole place. It's not like it used to be. My oldest boys 18 and 13 loved power play as little boys but man on man has it went downhill since. Don't waste your time or money. Go to Main Event or Dave and Busters. This place is a joke and disgusting.
First of all, the smell was rancid. It smelled like bathroom everywhere. I'm not joking. As for the games, most were either sticky, broken, or out of commission. The food was subpar. Tickets took forever to load from the game to the card. And the prizes that could be earned through collecting tickets were cheap. The only things that were enjoyable were the go carts. It was not worth the time or money.
It was ok but actually rather disappointing. The grandkids loved it, but several machines were out of order and several simply took you money credits and didn't work. I really saw very few employees. There was a tilt-a-whirl inside the building that was so loud it was frightening to my grandkids. I frankly can't believe OSHA is ok with the person running the ride.
