I never noticed this place which is a stand alone shop in Matthews, until recently. I needed an antique chair and 3 legged table that belonged to my great grandmother repaired. No one else wanted to do it. I took it the Precious Restorations and Jack did a fantastic job. He was quick, the pieces look great and the prices were reasonable. He was a total professional.
I also have to say a word about his shop. What a great find this was! It's filled with little treasures - old records, comic books, antique jewelry, vintage rock posters - all sorts of cool and quirky stuff. I'm so glad I found it. We'll definitely be back since they get new stuff all the time. Just sorry that it took me several years to finally stop in!

Are there other places in Charlotte to buy records? Yes, but let me be the first to tell you that Precious Restorations is the best. Other records store usually overprice their used stuff, not here. The prices are fair and the selection never disappoints. If I want to buy records this is the first place I go to. Also, Jack (the owner) is very nice and welcoming. Every time I come here we usually have a wonderful chat. Check this place out and you won't be disappointed.

Jack restored my wife's curio cabinet that belonged to her mother. It had been poorly repaired more than once in it's past. It was not a high dollar antique but high in sentimental value. Jack treated it with care and respect. The work was excellent! He is truly an artist. A real pleasure to deal with and reasonable prices! Recommended without reservation.

Cool little paintings and antique repair in matthews... has a ton of cool vintage and retro stuff to check out.... who knew!? Awesome selection of vinyl and comic books.... nice guy at the counter... he showed me some of his work.... guy is an artist...anyway bought some records looked around for 20 minutes.... still gotta go back and see what i missed

Brought in a broken fiberglass antler from a big restoration hardware deer head. I wasn't sure it could even be fixed. Jack did a superb job mending and painting the break. Good as new. Thanks Precious Restorations you're the best!
