What a mess, if you are lucky or smart enough to read reviews on this organization before doing business with them, “Take Head and Steer Clear”. Unfortunately, you probably find yourself in my position where the Dr. and or clinic that performed your sleep study sent you to them. The first thing I would like to offer, is that, if this company spent half the time that they are spending to continue to push Covid restrictions in 2023 at their clinics they could work on their number one issue, which at a glance appears to be unsatisfied customers and negative customer reviews. I’m not going to echo the comments of the other reviews regarding the incompetence of this organization as it stands, but to say, they are not far off from what I encountered.
The sooner robots replace these incompetent people they call "customer service" reps now a days, the better place the world would be. Whoever runs this company should be ashamed of themselves. In years of dealing with this company I've had 1 positive experience and that one was only after months of calls with different reps and supervisors did they fix their own mistake.
Hangs up on customers. Ships out medical supplies late. Unusually long hold times. Solution: File a FORMAL complaint with insurance company. not just call and complain but ask to file a formal written complaint. Be clear on what is going on.
Absolutely everyone on here that said the wait times on the phone and the atrocious customer service are TRUTHFUL in their statements. Someone said it's taken months in an attempt to get a machine. Yup, finally managed to get someone on the phone and she immediately started giving me a lecture regarding my not holding. She turned right around and put me on hold. I even made a two hour drive thinking it would help if I went in person, they have a sign on the door that the lobby is no longer open. Why give the address and hours then? This place cannot possibly be a legitimate health care provider.
What a joke. The hold times each and every single time are worse and worse. Currently sitting on hold for 2 hours and 15 minutes to schedule my wife’s refill! And because you can’t get next day, we have to endure this absolutely ridiculous wait on hold today for Friday! If I call back tomorrow she will run out before Monday! Get it together preferred. It just continues to go down hill. And don’t get me started on how many orders the dr has placed for other things that have been lost. Resubmitted and lost again. SMH. 2.5 hours on hold, Eddie comes on the line and we get lots of attitude. Filing complaint with the insurance company. Unacceptable. Get a new job Eddie. You do not belong in customer service.
If you care about the mortality rate of your loved ones, please do not use this company. The only thing they can lead you to is to putting a column in an obituary for your loved one. Terrible company with even more tragic results.
Worst business I have ever dealt with. Impossible to reach. On hold 40 minutes and then chose the option to leave my number for a call back by end of day. It's been 2 1/2 days so far. My insurance only allows supplies from them. They don't email as promised when supplies are ready and half the time they send wrong supplies. I guess that's why they have an embarrassing 1.5 star rating.
We have tried getting my sister's oxygen equipment picked up for over a week since she has moved. It takes almost an hour to get someone on the line to reschedule as they refuse to make an appointment or work within the time frame of the apartment office staff. I can't gaurentee the equipment won't be disposed of as it's taking valuable space in a building my sister no longer resides in. The communication between the office and drivers is strained and almost non-existent. My sister went plenty of weekends without oxygen while using this service that was force placed by her insurance company. I've notified the insurance company about the lack of concern in returning the equipment. Please if you care about you're loved ones find a different oxygen supplier.
My son has his g-tube supplies, formula, wheel chair stroller and oxygen supplies from Preferred Homecare. There can be long wait times on the phone, sometimes I will call 2-3 times a day persistently to reach someone but overall when I get through they are very nice and apologetic, especially during the pandemic. When my son was getting out of the hospital the next day they made sure he got his oxygen supplies. Drove out to their location yesterday to pick up a wheelchair/stroller because the delivery was going to be delayed, we really needed it sooner so I decided to pick it up and they were very helpful and friendly. Sometimes you have to call your doctor's office and get them to call to get the supplies you need too...overall we have had a good experience with Preferred Homecare.
have been waiting over a week to get a mattress Overlay for my bed. I have not been able to sleep in my bed. No one answers the phone in that department and if they do they hang up on you. I called and passed 0 and got a live person to give them a message still no call. My case manager called and they told her they needed chart notes my Dr faxed them to them. Today my insurance called them, they never received them. Typical response get that All the time they gave her a new fax number. I contacted my Dr with the new number, they said that's where she faxed them, but would do it again. So, now still waiting to see if preferred will respond. Not holding my breath
