"Since its inception, Pride has been a leading innovator in the transportation industry. The company has a modern fleet of late model tractors and has been recognized as an environmentally "green fleet." Pride has also been recognized as one of 20 "Best Fleets to Drive For" in 2011. But our history starts and continues with our family, powered by diesel, maintained with respect, and run with safety."

I have been with Pride Transportation for 1 month, so far they have been a good company to work for. They don't have the fastest trucks on the road but they give you the proper time to make your delivery and they always have a load for you prior to you making the delivery that you are currently on. They do their best to keep you moving, at least my dispatcher does. At this current time I don't have any thing negative to say about this company.
Thank you for the opportunity you gave to my husband John. It didn't work out because of the hair follicle test that came back positive for something he did 5 months ago when he was going through something. He would've been a good driver for you but now he's heading home to his family . I believe in second chances but I had drivers myself and I never judged them for their past mistakes. People change and so did he. Good luck with your business
I have been with PRIDE coming on my 2nd year, and everything is great! They give you the respect and they don't treat you like a number. The trucks are extremely well maintained and safety is their first priority. They keep you moving . I LOVE PRIDE !
This company continues to screw my husband out of a job. His trainer backed up the trailer and hit something, but then filed the paperwork that it was my husband who hit the trailer. If they had looked at the camera, they would have seen it was not my husband but his idiot trainer. My husband cannot find another job because of this incident.I also would not recommend this company if you want to have home time. He was hired and trained as a Dedicated route driver and promised 4 days out/3 days home. When finished training he was getting 4-5 weeks out and 2 days home. The dispatchers do not take into consideration distance and drive time when assigning routes and loads and push drivers to keep going in dangerous conditions. Very disappointed in this company.
Don’t drive for Pride Transport! There sign on bonus a joke ! $ 100 a week for the next two years not a sign on bonus! They don’t average above 10 k miles a month continuously! You will not get your vacation pay bonus if you don’t average 10 k a miles for the next 12 months. They will find any reason not to pay your vocation bonus after your yearly anniversary! They have a very high turn overate ! They’re better companies than Pride Transport. They’re CR England family! I forgot to mention their medical co pay 10 k what a joke !
Everyone at Pride Transport was fantastic. Unfortunately the job didn't work out for me . Anybody that lives out west or is looking for an OTR opportunity I would highly recommend giving them a call.
I was offered a job based on my skill and qualifications which included passing the TSA Background check and obtaining my Hazmat endorsement. The offer was recinded because I have an 8 year old felony conviction. Being disqualified because of who I am after being qualified because of what I am capable of is discrimination and I'm embarrassed to think actually wanted to work for a company of bigots.
My mom was a trucker for this company. And I was with her for the summer times. She was so paid and she loved it. This company is so worth it. So I say you work for this company
This is not a good company for recent CDL graduates or for women. The company expects female students to live on a truck with a male trainer for 6 weeks. The trainers barely have any experience themselves. The trainers only care about getting loads delivered. They will direct you to break the rules of the road, by speeding then complain when you do not listen. Don't expect to stay healthy! The trainers do not drink fluids or use the restroom. It's their truck so do not expect to stop either. There's less than 50 women in the whole company and only 3 are African American. The pay is mediocre for new drivers, $550 every 7 days. Trust me, do not waste your time.
