Pridon Goisashvili at Eastern Market

Many miss this place while exploring the capital, but it's a nice little market with old town feel. You can walk along the stores and purchase unique items. There are several cafes too, to have breakfast or lunch

So I got some amazing things from the market today .... Heirloom tomatoes, some funky string beans and great corn on the cob. Also handmade soap that some people said was a must try, I'll post the veggies later guys because I packed them away for cooking tomorrow but here are some other photos I took. Enjoy

Clean market..I was expecting outdoor stalls but it was winter during my visit. Not so many stalls open but it still worth to visit if you're near the area

I have been coming here two weekends in a row for the flea market. There are always new products or stalls to be found; creative art pieces, handmade jewelry, candles and bath bombs.

Beautiful place! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall experience. You can find fresh veggies, fruits, fish, poultry, beef, pork, beef... They also have flowers, dessert, breakfast, lunch, crafts, art, clothes... Everybody is so nice, the architecture it’s spectacular! We went this Sunday and the weather was perfect!

This year our family went to DC. We made a list of all the attractions we would see. On the list was the air and space museum and the national gallery of art, but among the first things was this pasta place. It has the best raviolis I have ever had, and the cheese tortellini is absolutely perfect.

Eastern market is one of the hidden gems in DC. the crab cake at the diner is a must try. Also a perfect place for fresh meat, seafood, vegetable, and fruits. Farmers market nearby on weekends also host many local businesses with great products.

Fabulous market with lots to choose from, especially for the carnivores out there. I found some local butter, paired it with scones from the bakery... Delicious!

We enjoyed this place. We had food at several vendors. We also bought a fresh baked sourdough loaf. It is in a really old buying that has been updated. I would definitely recommend this place.
