This hotel was extremely nice and the employees were super friendly. Our flight was canceled, and they allowed us to have an early check-in. Very welcoming. The rooms are a little noisy. The windows are really awesome, but we could hear the room above us open and close them all day. It made taking a nap difficult. We could also hear the room next door flush their toilet near our bed. The bar at the pool closes way earlier. I believe their last call was at 7 or 730, I'm assuming this is to try and reduce the noise. We wish there was another hot tub. They created a 15 min rule for guests since there is only 1 small one. Both pools are really awesome. Not many people were using them, I guess it is the slow season. It's a very nice and clean upscale hotel.
This was a great hotel to stay in for a much needed long vacation after years of not really travelling anywhere long distance due to the pandemic. The view from the room was divine, and the bathroom was the fanciest one I have experienced in a hotel. Think lots of marble. The location is at the end of the Waikiki strip, but still walkable to all of the shops and restaurants. There are 2 gift shops, and one serves a lot like the ABC convenience stores that are all over Oahu, with pricing that isn't that different. The 100 Sails restaurant in the hotel was fabulous for breakfast. A bit pricey, but worth it to try at least once. Highly recommend.
My friend and I celebrated her birthday here and we stayed 6 nights. When we arrived we were greeted but no lei, drink or anything which was a disappointment. They do have some small fresh flowers you can pin to your hair but.... The staff were friendly, very helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, pool area was very nice, overall a nice place to stay on a good budget. The location was walking distance to the local mall with a food court and other fun stores. Walking distance to the beaches, bus stop and lots of other local places. It was a $31 dollar taxi fair to and from this hotel which wasn't bad. If you need a specific pick up time you can arrange that with the staff wake up calls were great, gift shop and coffee shop were very convenient and useful. The bathroom has separate tub, shower and toilet areas and the toilet is heated and comes with a remote for cleaning your areas after doing your business. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We did not try the buffet restaurant just because we didn't. I would definitely stay here again as I am a budget friendly traveler. PS we stayed on the 22nd floor with an ocean view it had very nice views but a bit loud at night so if you are a light sleeper get a room that isn't located near the sound of the streets. Pet friendly Rooms: Clean, comfy, bathroom toilet amazing, separate toilet/shower and tub areas , large close up mirror, and overall all you need. Nearby activities: We walked to the beach in about 10 minutes, walked to the mall within about 14 mins and there are many places to eat with walking distance as well. There are several stores like ABC if you need any last minute items you may have forgotten or if you want a snack or gift to take home. Walkability: Great location for lots of things to see and do.
As a California travel agency owner, I would recommend this property to my clients and friends. Waking up every morning with the ocean views from every room makes you feel like your entire room is a balcony. The location on the marina was perfect, with the beach on both sides and the Ala Moana mall a five-minute walk. We got club-level access to food, snacks, and wine when we wanted it. We could always find a seat at the pool and the live music every night was great! I would definitely go back! The location was great, the service was great and the view can't be beaten.
Costumer service and room service is amazing. The ocean view is great and pool deck is great place to spend time, have a nice drink and fun. The is a buffet available, around 40 dollars per person, with a good selection for everyone. Only complaint was the lack of a microwave since we like to do popcorn to watch movies and no laundry station available they offer dry cleaning service but its expensive. Again, this is a personal complaint. Overall, a great hotel with a great location.
I and my family stayed here for seven nights and it was absolutely fabulous! The views from the room, elevator, pool are amazing. The staff is super friendly, courteous and nice! The valet parking is also good. This was our third visit to Oahu. We had stayed in Hilton properties before, including Hilton Village resort, except for the village experiences this hotel has been the absolute best. I loved the bathroom setup, separate shower, closed toilet with bidet seat warmer, soaking tub outside. Great house keeping, very friendly and good. Missing things: may be a Lanai balcony and Microwave, and US mainland based ATMs that don’t charge extra :.
If I could I would give it six or seven stars! Sophisticated, clean, modern hotel located right at the beginning of Waikiki. Each room has stunning views of the harbour and ocean. Rooms are spacious and clean and it is one of the few hotel resorts which has daily housekeeping. They have a cute Cafe in the lobby perfect for grabbing a quick bite and two restaurants for dining. The hotel is a little far from main hub of shopping and dining areas in Waikiki but it's plus points far surpass any hotel so far. I will definitely comeback.
Best Hotel in Waikiki. Rooms are very nice, the service was excellent. The 100 sails restaurant was very good. Marble bathrooms with a heated bidet. Separate shower, toilet area and tub area. The window opens wide so you can get fresh air. customer service was Awesome. I would love to stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
I am not a fan for posting negative reviews, so I will qualify the ratings I gave. The rooms are large and clean. and my view was fantastic. Hat's off to Housekeeping and the Concierge. My issue was the front desk. After traveling on a 11 hour flight, I expected to be welcomed with a smile. I was scolded by the agent because the hotel misspelled my wife's name. Not my fault, I offered the my computer printout which was refused. Next I was interrogated about a form that wasn't properly submitted. I was advised by text to speak with a Manager, which I did. All I received was an apology. One would think that with as many hotels right next to each other, the front desk staff would be trained properly and one would be offered something other than a mere apology. I guess I must remember this is not New Jersey or New York! After 30 years as an Executive in hospitality, the first voice you hear or face you meet with set the tone of your stay. I am thankful that the rest of my stay was pleasurable. I would stay again! Rooms: The room was impeccable and the bed was quite comfortable.
We just wrapped up a wonderful 8 night stay at the Prince Waikiki! One thing is for sure, this hotel THRIVES in the hospitality department. The purpose of our stay was to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary! We felt very special when we found a bottle of sparkling wine put in our room for the occasion. I had the chance to chat with Josephine and Dayna two of the housekeepers for a few minutes before leaving for a day of adventure. We came back to a bead necklace in a heart shape with a note from the two of them wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Such a sweet gesture that is one of the highlights of our stay! Laura and Savanna at the front desk were very helpful when I asked them for boba recommendations. They were so kind to write down their favorite spots. We tried two of them: “Coffee or Tea?” and “The Alley” and really enjoyed them. The Prince Waikiki has fresh orchids and bobby pins on the counters every day for those staying at the hotel to wear : there is also a great coffee shop in the lobby. We LOVED our stay and I will definitely recommend the Prince Waikiki to friends traveling to Oahu!
