Laurent D has a beautiful new salon in the perfect location! Prive by Laurent D continues its standard of excellence in hair care. Laurent always makes me feel beautiful and has been cutting my hair for years. I will continue to go back for a blow-out by his wonderful assistant, Madalyn who also advised on the right products for my type of hair. Every employee at Prive is courteous, attentive and professional. I won't go anywhere else and highly recommend to you!

Katy deserves all five stores and more. She's been taking my VERY dark brunette here into a golden blonde over the course of the last ~6 months while maintaining its health and integrity. She's a true artist and expert colorist and ALSO great at cuts, which is nearly impossible to find. The salon itself is an oasis and I always look forward to my quarterly appointments and wish I could come in more often!. I highly recommend both Prive by Laurent D and Katy for your color and hair needs!

I first moved to Prive, all the way from downtown, when my long time brilliant hair stylist Ji Won relocated there. But once there, everyone was so friendly and professional and the products great, that the trip uptown on the R seemed a small price to pay. I recommend this salon highly and I am fussy.

This review doesn't reflect upon the salon but instead on one of the hairdressers that work there- Andrew. He was a friend of a friend so I decided to get my keratin done by him but the product he used was awful and didn't work at all. I was upset but understanding and especially because he felt bad and offered to give me 2 free haircuts. What annoys me is that he offered the haircuts to me and I didn't even ask. I went for my first haircut and was happy with it- he's a decent hair dresser. But he is very unprofessional. I have been contacting him for 3 months asking for an appointment for my second haircut and every time he only offers me a date that doesn't work for me and last time he cancelled the appointment the day I was going to go in. I have been trying to contact him for a few weeks now because I wanted to get a haircut before my wedding but he doesn't respond properly and sends confusing messages back and isn't being available. I'm pretty sure he just doesn't want to do it because it's free even though it was his offer. It's a shame because I would've continued to see him for haircuts but for someone who works at such a nice salon he is not professional or courteous. Would not recommend him.

My hair stylist Valentino Longo recently moved to this hair salon that just opened. Fantastic place! They make you feel welcome and relaxed. I am sure this place will be famous soon... I hope that Valentino will not be always overbooked!

Adi is a masterful stylist. He listens well and I always am pleased with the results. Privé Salon is modern, minimalist but remains a comfortable environment. The entire staff is lovely.

Beautiful place with a very friendly staff. Madeleine did a fabulous job with my thick hair. I highly recommend this salon.
