Rick at Pro Auto Tech doesn’t advertise. His business is all word of mouth. He is the mechanic that doesn’t call himself “The Honest Mechanic” or have fancy race cars in the lobby… Rick is just an incredible mechanic. I’ve brought my cars to Rick over 15 years. Rick is not the cheapest though he is not to most expensive. I feel he is a great value because he fixed the car right the first time. I’ve never had to bring a car in a Second time because something wasn’t solved. To me, that is a great deal. Knowing inside… Your car is coming out of the doctor happy! The location Rick is at has other car repair shops and if twisted around, they will happily help you… So make sure you have the correct address! Far west corner of the business center? Just be sure your at the correct suite/address.

Rick is old-school in a good way. Honest, great to work with, does good work, and will work with you on questions or issues. Rick got our attention when he helped an out of town friend of ours that had a dashboard electrical issue; gave him great and honest advice for free, and helped him get going again. The owner of Pro Autotech is always thorough, honest, and fairly priced. We've taken our cars and SUV's there for more than 10 years and have zero complaints or times when I thought I was being ripped off. Definitely recommend going there!

Richard really came through when we had car trouble with our Chevrolet HHR. He fixed our transmission problem for good & feels like new again. We have taken our cars to Rick at Pro AutoTech for over 20 years. I know I can trust him to not take advantage of my limited knowledge of cars. He is definitely my "go-to" mechanic. It's so hard to find someone you can trust and he keeps my little old Toyota running just fine.

Having used Rick now for 10+ years on my Honda's... I recommend him to any of my friends. He gets the job done right. I used to live next to a mechanic who worked for a Honda dealership and they told me to NEVER bring my car to the dealership in that specific town. I guess they liked to create OTHER reasons to bring your car in later. This is not the case, Rick is honest, hard working and truly the best mechanic I have ever used in my life. He was recommended to me by a co-worker who used to be his neighbor. I'm so pleased she did... He is FIVE stars all the way! Thank you Rick for all you've done for me and my friends over the years.

This is the only place I will take my cars to. I used to live 40 minutes away and would take my cars here just to know that they were in capable hands, that's how great this place is! Rick has never charged more than what he quotes and he will spend the time to do a proper diagnosis on the vehicle to ensure that what he is recommending will fix the vehicle. I know a little bit about cars and I know what he has had to go through to diagnose/fix some of the issues on my cars. Although cars are becoming more reliant on computers, they can't tell you everything. Rick takes the time to view the diagnostic codes from the computer, then check everything that the code entails to see EXACTLY what needs to be fixed. Many other places I have been to read the code, then suggest fixing everything that could be tied to that code. This place does not do that. He will never suggest repairing something that doesn't need to be repaired, and he will never suggest unnecessary maintenance items. If you want someone that is honest, trustworthy, and will go above and beyond, Rick is your guy. Also, there is no "Michael" at this repair shop, like the only negative review states.

I was having an issue with my car and called several local shops and dealers. I was not feeling comfortable with what I was being told and so I decided to try Pro Auto Tech because I saw positive reviews. Wow..... I was impressed! Not only did Rick take care of the problem in a very timely manner, but he actually charged about 30% LESS than he quoted! I had been looking for an independent shop in this area and feel I have found it. I will be happy to recommend him to anyone that needs a great mechanic.
