I hired Eddie with Proactive Electrical to run some wire for an EV charger install. Eddie came by for a quote, and we spent quite a bit of time looking into the wiring in my old house 100+ years. Ultimately we came up with a plan to get it done. Eddie was really patient and willing to work with me as I bounced ideas off of him, and extremely helpful when decision making. His quote came in very reasonable for the work, and the level of effort required. Eddie was also very approachable, available, and friendly that I felt in good hands. The job ended up taking a whole day, but the work was very clean and professional. He involved me in any decisions and advised as to how to proceed. One thing I found really awesome about my interactions with Eddie was his willingness to educate me on the process. I know a whole lot more about the electrical in my home as a result. He was very good at explaining why things had to be done a certain way in a totally non- condescending tone. I've included some pictures of his work. He also ran the outlet next to the charger. I provided the charger and the housing for the charger, he did the rest!

I recently had an old electrical outlet start to smoke and then stop working. I didn't know what to do so I thought I would reach out to an electrician. We're doing a lot of renovation and deal with contractors/handymen a lot. After getting quotes from many different companies I chose Eddie because: 1. He was prompt so many others canceled or showed up late, I really appreciate him respecting my time. 2. He knew what he was talking about and had good suggestions. 3. He did a very clean, well crafted, and thorough job with our installation, even leaving a cord plugged in along with the user manual to show how our outdoor box worked. 4. COMMUNICATION!! Can't say how important that was for us. From beginning to end, Eddie was very responsive, professional, and nice! We loved working with him, and will definitely hire him again. He's hands down the best person we've hired to work on our home.

We had a great experience with Proactive! We hired them to install some recessed lighting in our newly purchased home and they did very great. They were very fast and reliable which I appreciated. I liked working with Eddie, he was very. trustworthy and I can appreciate having that kind of person in my home.

Great company. We were impressed with there detail and care regarding our project. We bought a new Electric Vehicle and Eddie was a tremendous help during the process. He explained the differences between Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 charging and gave us some considerations regarding an actual charger. The installation was clean and neat, and everything was nicely picked up after the work was completed. They weren't the lowest price, but they weren't the highest either and we could not be happier with our choice. Very pleased and highly recommended!

Eddie does a lot of electrical work for our clients and our own home. He always shows up on time and does a thorough job. We are real estate agents and need electricians for jobs small and large. We were struggling to find a good electrician. We have been very happy to have found Eddie to help our clients out. We found Proactive Electrical Solutions on HomeAdvisor. We needed to have somebody come check out our wiring for our kitchen lights. We weren’t sure if it was the light switch, wiring, light fixtures or electrical panel. Eddie came out on Thursday, March 21st for the estimate. He was right on time. I showed him the issues we were having and what we tried to do to fix it on our own. Explained what we thought it was. Then Eddie looked at the wiring and the electrical panel and explained since the electrical panel was tripping it was probably the light fixture or the wiring in the light switch. Eddie was very nice and explained everything so I could understand it. He explained that he could just look at the light fixtures and wiring. So we scheduled the work for Friday, April 5th. We understood they were busy and that’s the soonest we had time to schedule so somebody could be home. So that morning, Chris showed up on time. Chris explained everything to my wife on what he was going to do and check out. He took out one of the light fixtures and then the other lights turned on. So they knew right away it was the wiring in the light fixtures and not in the light switch. We will call Eddie and Chris for all of our future electrical needs. Great company.
