Have been doing hobby shops for 65 of my 71 yrs. First walked into Prop Shop back in 1983 while in the thick of the rc nitro boat hobby, and I can honestly say that Tom and Matt are the best. Very knowledgeable, and really fun to do business with. Met other enthusiasts there on Saturday mornings for some 'bench' racing. Just great people!
Not only the best hobby shop in the state it's also just plainly one of the best stores in Michigan. The staff are all amazing and very attentive, and their stock is always growing.
Awesome old school hobby store. They have every kind of hobby. Be it plastic foam paper or wood. I havent stepped foot into such a well stocked hobby shop in 30 years.
I've known Matt the owner for over 40 years. Him and his staff are the best in the business!! Whenever you need he's got it or he'll get it. The best thing is,his knowledge you can't get off of the internet. Thanks Matt, don't ever go out of business!!!!!!!
One of the only hobby shops around that carry 3D helicopters! Great place and friendly staff. Just bought the Goosky Legend S2 and I love it
The Prop Shop has a vast selection of RC aircraft parts and accessories that I was looking for as prizes for the Radio Control Club of Detroit"s Fun Fly event this last Saturday. Matt, the store's owner served me well and provided RCCD special deals on the large number of items I bought for our Fun Fly event. The Prop Shop is a critical supplier for RC aircraft and other hobby models in the northeastern Metro Detroit area.
What a great place. People are friendly and the parts selection has all my RCs going strong. Thanks guys for hanging around for us did hard artist! And rc builders.
Just bad experience went to get a part for my 3.3 motor which wasn’t in stock had them order it waited two weeks to find out it wasn’t even ordered. Had to order it myself got it in 4 days

Support this hobby shop with all your might. These people really care about their customers and I will continue to return. They have all the things you would expect and a lot of things you wouldn't. Not to mention the great prices.
