At Propeller, Inc. quality assurance begins with the right people and the proper understanding of what quality means to the customer and where the product is used. Propeller’s Oracle ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system controls all order processing and inventory control. Propeller will inspect the shipment for order accuracy, product accuracy, lot tracking accuracy, and over all packaging.
Propeller Receiving – In order to verify all inbound shipments we work with our clients to create a custom receiving process for their business. For example, we might ask our clients to provide a sample file for all their inbound purchase orders. This file would include pertinent information, such as- retail artwork, quantity expected, revision numbers, etc. Once the shipment is received, the goods will go through the Propeller receiving inspection department before going into inventory. Propeller utilizes tried-and-true internal methods and integrates them with the metrics that our clients require, objectively measuring accuracy, performance and projecting future performance to reach the desired outcome– a white-glove experience for your customers, and the increased revenue that comes with those happier customers.
Propeller Kitting – At Propeller we take extra steps to insure every product is kitted according to our clients’ specifications. In addition to the checks performed in the receiving department we do checks when pulling each component. Also, each production build has it own unique build sheet. This is an exact replica of the BOM (Bill Of Materials) provided by the client. Once ready to assemble, we do a first article build and photograph or ship this sample to you for verification. This has also proven invaluable to the kitting staff, ensuring that everyone “on the line” understands how the product is to be completed. During the kitting process we also run the product through a scale and verify accuracy by weight. Propeller is your solution for accurate, cost-effective and on-time assembly.
