We moved in last year and we were out of a refrigerator for a week and a half. They raised the rent 300.00 randomly when we were paying 1800, and the previous tenants only paid 1400.Now it's up for rent for 1800.00 again!!!! Which is interesting?!!! I guess nobody wants to pay 2100.00 like we had to upon moving out. It was fun being under stress looking for a new rental in your 3rd trimester of your pregnancy. The HOA was horrific and harrassed us the first week we moved in about the lawn. Then they harassed us about a vehicle being parked out front that wasn't even ours a little bit after. When moving out we made sure the rental property was in great condition and even paid 350.00 for a cleaning company to clean it, but we didn't move the washer and dryer back upstairs due to us using our own and they took 250.00 from the refundable deposit. Supposedly it cost that much to re-hose them, even though we left all the hoses upstairs. Mind you I'm 9 months pregnant and my husband moved the entire house by himself due to them trying to be greedy for no reason and inflating the rent. Please don't use this company unless you want to be taken advantage of! Gouging at it's finest and it's pitiful!
I’ve worked for property management and real estate over 15 yrs. The property I rent had a few issues at move in which is normal, they responded right away and had everything fixed in a day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home. This is what you want from a management company.
Jeff has always done his best to work with us and get back to us as soon as possible. Sometimes it takes a bit longer for things to happen then I’d hope. I wish we were able to call in and just ask a question rather then getting immediately sent to voice mail. As a young renter/new renter, I do appreciate working with him. The few accounts I had to deal with Cathy, were not my most pleasant. She was fairly rude with me and even my mother over the phone. We had a flood in our house and everything was falling apart. She just told me to put in a work order. Didn’t have much concern for us or our situation when we were going through it. Side note: I wish their website was a little nicer to use. It would be nice to pay fees or other deposits SEPARATELY. So it isn’t combined in with the total of rent. It can be a little inconvenient when it comes to paying your bill.
I love Cathy and Jeff, at Property Minders, They are real people who care about the property they manage. Whenever I need some type of maintenance, they have someone contact me the same day to make arrangements. and when they come, they only need to come once. They never question me about repairs. I let them know what needs to be done, and I'm contacted usually that same day. Never do they try to avoid repairs or try to push it off on me like a lot of property management companies. Actually they are the only landlord that doesn't do this. Even better is the maintenance crews they hire; these guys aren't like some of the companies out there that act like snakes. They do the job and do it good without having the need to return two or three times just to finish the repair. a lot of maintenance guys leave tenants with these issues some time one or two weeks some times longer with their inflated determinations about the needed repairs. basically , they have honest maintenance men. which in the long run must save them a bundle of money. I've lived in a rental unit for three years that Property Minders manages and it was merely a stroke of luck to get an honest company. Thank you Property Minders for being so honest and really caring about the properties you manage. MeShelle
I was very pleased with Jeff’s professionalism, he was able to keep the application and move in process simple yet efficient and fast . All lease terms and conditions where clear, hidden fees or restrictions. If I submit a work order they get the issues resolved in an appropriate and reasonable amount of time . Also I had a chance to meet Kathy I placed a work order and she actually came over personally to address and view the issues at hand , when she left she assured me , that’s she will personally make sure the work order would be resolved. An she did follow through. . My home is in a perfect location, clean and quiet neighborhood. An the rent is reasonably priced and when I resigned my second year lease It was SUPER simple all my terms and conditions stayed exactly the same which made me very pleased. I can say with confidence I’m very satisfied with property minders LLC and the service provided.
My initial impression of Jeff was not good. His response time to any communication was horrible and he seemed to lack overall professionalism. At the time we needed a fast move-in and had opted to forgo the cleaning prior to getting the keys as it did not fit our timeline. Why the condo was listed without having already been cleaned from the previous tenant, is another story. Regardless, the entire place needed paint and Jeff just couldn't seem to get the job done even after months of living there. Finally the work was complete and I had no need to communicate with the management company. Fast forward to now I've been working directly with Cathy who is wonderful. Very responsive, very professional with great attention to detail. As a renter, I feel like I'm in good care with Cathy. I look forward to continuing my relationship with property minders.
Best Property Management Company in Phoenix. Look no further. My house was rented within a week with a highly qualified renter. Their on-line accounting system makes paying and receiving payments a breeze. All maintenance issues are handled expediently and will also be posted on line. Cathy McCormack is a professional and highly qualified.
Jeff and Cathy are phenomenal. I'm trying to leave some constructive feedback, however, I cannot think of anything negative to say about them. From the first time, I contacted Jeff about finding a house everything has been perfect. If you are looking for a house to rent or if you have one that you want to turn into a rental property I highly recommend giving these two a call.
Probably the worst ever experience as a renter I have had. Barely a thirty day notice that I would not be able to stay in a house I'd planned to be in for several years which is very difficult when you're a single mom of three kids and own your own business. Then I have to endure being awakened at 6:30 in the morning and screamed at by the property manager literally screaming into the phone to get her my keys even though I had a letter in my posession saying to have them there by 9am. Left the house almost perfect except for a few small details like sweeping the garage floor and leaving the holes in the wall they left me when I moved in - had the yard landscaped the week before I left and cut the back myself the day before, spent 12hrs cleaning the house and carpets and returned my key to the post office yet they charge me over $1000 for house, carpet cleaning, yard work and my mail key. Not to mention the whole time I was there it was difficult to get ahold of them, they won't call or return calls or texts or allow you to explain extenuating situations and they also tried to charge me for repairs that were the owner's responsibility while I lived there. The only saving grace in that situation was that I had made friends with the repair man and he stuck up for me. If they seem to care about you as a property owner, be aware they don't care at all about your tenants. Please don't use these guys, they are crooks and a half. My previous neighbor told me he worked for them for a while but had to quit because he never got paid. Not surprising. If you care about how your business is handled and the people who live in your residence, definitely stay away from these guys.
Cathy and team go above and beyond for their clients. I had PM manage my property in Arizona for about 2 years, they were not the easiest tenants to deal with but as soon as I had Cathy on my side things turned around for the better. If you are looking for someone that will manage your property and be a fair mutual party.. look no further. Thanks for all your hard work, Cathy!
