After searching out a company to tint my Toyota FJ Cruiser I talked to Dwight at “Protint Hawaii”, he answered all my questions, we agreed on a price and scheduled an appointment to have the tint done. The day of my appointment I show up and Dwight starts working on my car “on time”, an hour later he’s finished. I just purchased a new car and wanted to change the tint that came with it. I don't have knowledge about tints other than that I wanted it dark. Dwight informed me of the different types of tints, their benefits and what is legal for the state of Hawaii. His knowledge made me feel like I wasn't being taken advantage and was able to guide me with the best option. He was also so easy to talk to, it was like talking to an old friend. When I brought my car in on the schedule appointment day I was able to drop it off in the morning and to my delight was ready by noon. I picked it up and was amazed at the how the tint looked on my car. It seemed to make the car stand out in my opinion. Upon a closer expection it was still difficult to see into my car from the outside, which is what I wanted. I got into my car afterwards and noticed the temperature was cooler than before and it was a hot sunny day. I am extremely pleased with the tint job. The whole experince was just great. Great tint job and service, Dwight the owner of Protint will answer any questions you have regarding tinting material, legalities, etc....this is not a fly by night shop, 38 years in business means Dwight is doing it right....my 4runner looks better than ever and it's a lot safer and cooler
