Our Programs
Adult Program
Psycamore provides therapies during the day and evening. Patients are scheduled to attend the day or evening program depending on their needs and convenience.

Adolescent Program
The Adolescent Program provides a structured and organized therapy program with after school schedules. Group therapies are provided 3:45pm until 7:35pm Monday through Friday. Diagnostic assessments and medication monitoring are done Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Individual and family therapies are scheduled Monday through Friday at the convenience of patient and the therapist.

Child Program (Flowood Location)
The Child Program provides comprehensive treatment for children ages 6-12, with an emphasis on psychotherapy and specializing in the treatment of behavioral problems. It is a structured and organized therapy program with after school schedules. The groups are broken down between ages 6-9 and 10-12 and meet from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Parenting Program
Psycamore also offers a Parent Training Program for parents of children ages 6-18 with conduct problems or who want to learn better parenting and is covered in 6 sessions.

The program is based on The Incredible Years Program developed by Carolyn Webster-Stratton, Ph.D. of the University of Washington. At the core of the program is the simple idea that people change as a result of the daily interactions with others and that when children misbehave and families become disruptive, it is necessary to change parent’s behavior as well as the children’s.

People who complete this collaborative, social modeling training program will be able to:

•Significantly reduce their children’s behavioral problems.
•Increase their children’s pro-social behaviors.
•Feel more confident and comfortable about personal parenting skills.
•Maintain positive parent-child interactions and healthy child behaviors.
Long Term Goal is to improve a long term prognosis for children with conduct problems by identifying, intervening with and supporting families of children with conduct problems.

Short Term Goal is to promote child and parent competencies and family strengths.

Therapeutic Yoga Center
The Therapeutic Yoga Center is located in Psycamore Suites, in Flowood, MS. Yoga is an ancient method from India of the collaboration of movement and breath in order to connect mind, body and spirit and create self-awareness. Therapeutic yoga is an adaptation of yoga to help people with certain psychological or physical problems that are not addressed in traditional yoga settings. All yoga therapists are licensed yoga instructors with training/experience in physical/psychological issues. Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday. Products

Psycamore accepts referrals from healthcare providers, and from family or patients directly. Once a referral is made, a Psycamore staff clinician will conduct a FREE screening assessment to determine what level of care is appropriate for the patient. If Psycamore is not the appropriate level of care then referrals will be given for further treatment.
