For the past several weeks I have been unable to speak with anyone at this company. While at my unit last week in December I bumped into a Public Storage employee who only made occasional site visits to inspect. I explained that I am being over-charged for my unit $560/month for a 10x15 and her mouth dropped open. A 10x10 unit was secured for $131/month. No one will respond to voicemails left for manager or emails sent through the website. This is very poor customer service and very disappointing because with have been a paying customer for over 12 years.
Needed to store my small trailer out of the rain. Chris saved my trailer load from being destroyed by rain. I showed up just before closing and he was a great help.
Dont know how this place gets good reviews,, but what an awful experience. This should really be an easy thing to do. I actually feel sorry for some of the workers there because they are generally nice people .The Distract Manager is not very customer service oriented, no one seems to be available at this place as the staff floats between the 24th street location and this one. I liked the app and entry process, and the location. But having to deal with waiting for them to do the most simple things like show up, or process a refund was insanely frustrating.
Some years ago I rented a unit at this facility. It was broken into. No apologies given. When I went to inspect the unit even the broken padlock hadn’t been replaced. It was close to closing and the young lady at the service desk was incredibly rude at one point even saying to me ‘Did you not hear what I said?!’ Although it was years ago, I still remember this as the rudest customer service I’ve experienced. I did report the incident and I can only describe the response as casual. Once again, I’m looking at storage options. Although this is the closest one, they won’t be getting my business.
I have never rented storage space before, so I really have nothing to compare my experience to other than more traditional experiences with customer service. I really have to commend Cheyanne for being accommodating, professional, and friendly. She provided me with price comparison details after I booked online to make sure I was getting the best deal, offered me additional options and items without being pushy, and remembered me when I returned with my belongings over a week later! I really appreciated the level of service she provided. Public Storage is lucky to have her. UPDATED APRIL 2021: I have now had this storage until for over a year and a half. In the last week, I have called and left four separate messages for someone to call me back and no one has. I went to the facility last Thursday and the office hours were posted to indicate someone should be there, but no one was and no one showed up in the 2 hours I was there. I asked security when the last time was that they saw someone in the office and they said it had been a week. This is NOT how you run a business.
Highly recommend using this facility. Cheyenne, the woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful. She went over every section of the agreement with me and was very informative and I felt like I knew everything I needed to as a first timer. I feel like I got a great price and the process was so smooth. I’m confident I will be very happy with my decision to store my belongings here :
The service was awesome thanks to Tina's knowledge and patience as I wavered for a day whether to pull the trigger. A little higher price but it's in a good neighborhood, good security, solid access hours, and mostly a pleasant and knowledgeable staff that made my unexpected move less stressful. Thanks to Tina for the help and good attitude she shows daily; always has a smile and a friendly hello. Kirk follows suit, good staff, happy with my choice. Place is clean and accessible via elevator or car down to basement, you should give them a look if they have an opening.
If Google allowed a 10-star rating, I would award a 10-star rating to Manager Sandy. Sandy clearly loves her job and consistently goes out of her way to provide top shelf customer service. Sandy is efficient, attentive and responsive. She and her staff do a superb job of maintaining a clean and safe facility. Sandy goes out of her way to assure tenants' needs are well taken care of. She solves problems quickly and efficiently and makes me feel as if I am a valuable customer. If ever Undercover Boss did a Public Storage episode, all of America would be impressed with and proud of Sandy!
Cheyenne is the most amazing employee at this Public Storage!! She is incredibly kind and provides amazing service. We had a ton of cardboard and trash she was willing to take to the dumpster for us so long as we broke everything down. This was incredibly convenient as I’m not sure how we would have transported all of it. She was also able to find a deal on a larger storage unit for less rent. I highly recommend this Storage facility!!
Kirk and Tina are too amazing fun loving people awesome awesome storage very easy to get to super clean and well lit great job
