We use the Publix bakery frequently for work occasions. They are prompt, and have excellent service. The staff are willing to help, and even approach you to see if you need help. You never have to search for someone, and they are always so nice.
My experience is from the viewpoint of an associate. Whereas I enjoyed very much what I did as an associate in the Deli Department, I didn't feel appreciated by my manager. Many times I felt that there was a serious problem with communication, even though I put forth tremendous efforts to do so. As a customer, I find this store to be accommanding with above average customer service.
She gave me the wrong amount on my money order at customer service line right in the front and told me she couldn't fix it don't shop here Publix fire her it was the two black women one of them name ashley
Good supermarket. Had everything I needed. Self checkout is very easy and I was easily able to find everything I wanted. They also have powerball tickets you can buy and a very large freezer section with lots of options for ice cream.
I went to buy Sushi, and the guy who was working in the back didn't even asked if I needed help. I was looking for one w/o avocado, stood there reading labels for a while, never did he speak or ask did I need help. I left and went to another close by Publix, where I was greeted, asked if I needed help. After I told her I was looking for Sushi w/o avocado, she offered to make some fresh. After she was done, she thanked me for being patient, which was not a problem at all. I actually cried because she didn't know how I had been treated at the other store, but for her to take care of me so kindly and gently, I just couldn't hold back the tears, just thinking about the other experience I had just had. I wish I knew her name, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope this is a lesson for the guy at this store, you never know what someone is going through or has gone through, how we act could be a determining factor on another person's life. They could be at their wits end and you could be the last person they ever talk to.
I actually prefer this store over the other Publix stores in the immediate area. BUT ... the checkout experience is consistently awful. All of one check out lane open beyond the self checkout option. There were at least 7 shoppers qued up behind me. The cashier thought throwing my food from her position down to the bagger was an appropriate means of food handling and the bagger dropped the food into the bags as opposed to placing it in the bag. Good grief people, I'm going to feed my family with this food.
I attempted to purchase cinnamon rolls that were listed as $3.79 but rung up for $6.79. I told the cashier to take them off. There wasn’t anyone to do a price check so I had to go back and check the price myself which confirmed the price of $3.79. I took the cinnamon rolls to the service desk and told the manager I believe that they weren’t ringing up correctly. She went back and looked and told me that no they are actually $6.79 and this sticker down the way goes with them. When I asked her what was 3.79 only cinnamon rolls were behind the 3.79 sticker she told me croissants even though the croissants were a completely different price entirely. So I guess as a consumer, this Publix expects me to match up the stickers and product code to the products because the staff they hired to do it is obviously lacking. From my shopping experiences here poor I’ve noticed they are notorious for having items mislabeled/ misprized and if you aren’t paying attention you will pay more! Has happened to me on numerous occasions Shopping here was NOT a pleasure!
This is my fav Publix. It always has what I’m looking for. The associates are pleasant and helpful. The store is always clean and tidy. Great floral department and bakery.
First time I've ever been impressed by the absolute most caring two men in store. Huge props to adel and mark at the Emory Commons location.... They went above and beyond to make sure I had a sandwich minutes before closing.... Give these guys a raise,. A corner office ,. Season tickets,. And a company car.... I swear these two are true men.... I will always come back to this place just because of the way these two gents took care of me
I ordered a large sandwich platter and a cheese platter for work and was not informed when ordering online that I had to pick them up at the customer service desk. This took up a large amount of time, and I was almost late for work because of this lack of communication.
