What happened? Bummer - Went for the lasagna. First bite delish, then got a bite of the braised pork, DRY. That sucks, to make an entire lasagna, all the ingredients, time and care to have one ingredient wreck the rest. Heartbreaking. The service was disastrous. The interior and exterior of the restaurant needs a really good scrub. The portions are outrageously large. I can't imagine how much is spent on to go containers. This is a Kitchen Nightmares waiting to happen. $45 w/ tip for one
Amazing food and Amazing staff! Italian Beef Stew was so tender and flavorful. You could taste each vegetable and the meat was melt in your mouth. Authentic Italian food with a warm and friendly atmosphere you must give then a try!
Delicious food!! We stayed at the hotel next door and decided to try this for dinner. It was busy so we sat at the bar but that was fine. I had the cannelloni stuffed with cheese-they make their own ricotta. All I can say is that it was wonderful. The marinara also was delicious. My husband’s dinner was also tasty. Very large portions. My only regret is that we live about 700 miles away and we can’t come back.
Amazing desserts! The ricotta cake is out of this world. Large portions. Nice quiet atmosphere.Dine in: Yes
One of the best genuine Italian restaurants I have been to. I have been here twice this week. Got the special both times and both times superseded expectations. Perfect amount of spice and great service! UPDATE: Kyla made it possible for our Team USA to be in the same place for out banquet night. No other place in Burlington would even consider taking a group our size. All of these group members are actively within the Army, Air Force, or retired Navy, Air Force, or Army. This was a hugely successful event and I will refer anyone to this place for a regular dinner or a group event. This place is perfect for either!
Giving 5 stars, because of the awesome, delicious fresh food and well thought menu. Our waitress was super green and disorganized, but the rest of the staff jumped to back her up, keeping things running smoothly. Classic, elegant but not at all pretentious atmosphere. Portion sizes are massive and shocking given the surprisingly low prices. Great place to share plates family style. Hard to find a decent cannoli in this area, but they have them here! Puts every other wannabe Italian restaurant in town to shame.
Lasagne seemed like it had been sitting around for days; wasn't even hot when it came to the table. Looked like old dry meatloaf. Pasta and clam sauce was more olive oil than I've ever seen and didn't seem like it had much flavor so it was just oil, really. Large amount of clams which was nice as well as the fresh clams deserves extra brownie points. Lastly, women's bathroom looked like a run down gas station bathroom. Expected more from such a high-end looking place.
This was next door to our hotel, so a quick walk during a rainy evening. Our server Jake was very friendly and enthusiastic. Hubby had ravioli and I had canelloni. It was so good! Large servings, so we had leftovers, and we got some canoli to go. We are only here for a few days, but we want to come back!
Heard and read good things so we've been meaning to try this place. Decided to take my daughter out for a farewell dinner before she heads back to college. The food was barely edible, we took most of it home and ended up throwing it away. The basic red sauce is decent but everything was swimming in it like a tomato soup. The chicken parm was one of the toughest pieces of meat I've ever cut into. Dry and tough at the same time. My daughters dish has so much thickly sliced "prosciutto" that it became an inedible salt bomb. It was also missing some of the listed ingredients. Only plus is the cannolis were pretty good. I know some places have bad nights but this is really unacceptable for $25 plates.
Wow, Just ate enough garlic to take out a colony of vampires. Ordered the Spaghetti alla Romana. The cook was extremely heavy handed this evening. My husband and dog are not happy with extra aroma, and my rumbling belly is pretty uncomfortable. The hostess was lovely and the food packaged extremely well.
