Overall the place is pretty decent. I've had better but the quality is good and the sushi is fresh. Things are a bit overpriced but in a landlocked state it's hard to find solid sushi. They had both Otoro and Uni which is a huge plus and their fresh rolls were fantastic!
Came here with my family for dinner - we are very happy to see a new sushi restaurant opening near our home! We had a great dinner, and our server took great care of us! For appetizers, we did the Tuna Lettuce wraps and pulled pork sliders. Absolutely delicious bar food. We also had some beverages - they have Orion beer, which isn't that easy to find around here. For dinner, I did the chicken teriyaki. Perfectly cooked and moist chicken. Lots of chopped veggies buried underneath it to keep things steaming. Had a great experience here, and felt like we were valued customers. Will definitely be back in the future.
I didn't even mean to stumble upon this for place for dinner.. I was reviewing menus for two restaurants and sandwiched between them was this sushi spot. Their happy hour menu was extensive and the prices were great. Kim the bartender was super nice and attentive. Sushi was good, sliders were good, edamame was good. I prefer chicken in my lettuce wraps but these were different probably would order poke instead next time. Definitely will be back. Happy hour m-f 3-6 and 11-6 on sun
Pure Sushi was ok but it just didn’t knock my socks off. The server was fantastic and the beer from Okinawa but the food left me underwhelmed. The sushi rolls were ok, the Ahi Poke dish was actually the best part of the meal and I’d have that again. What really let me down was the gyoza. I like mine a bit pan fried and these were just steamed. Personal preference. Overall a decent place and the happy hour isn’t bad, but with the options in the area, I doubt I’ll be back.
Tonight my family and I tried Pure Sushi Colony and we loved it. A friend recommended this restaurant and we weren't disappointed . We went early to take advantage of the Menu prices during Happy Hour. From our pots of Hot Tea, our appetizers, to the sampling of menu items on the Happy Hour Menu and the regular priced menu, we thoroughly enjoyed everything. I tried two of their Lollipop Rolls sushi rolls without rice, they were very good, my only suggestion would be to put one of these lollipop rolls on their Happy Hour menu. Many people are trying to eat low carb meals these days. We defiantly will go back.
Amazing place. Staff was great and food was delish, however i do say it was a bit on the expensive side. Two rolls, one lobster roll, one soda, tax and tip was $54. This was during the day. For dinner service the menu is the same without the vento boxes but the prices go up. Check the menu online and check prices before you visit the place.
Our first time here. We really enjoyed the pan seared dumplings. The dipping sauce is more of a vinegar finish and very delicious and refreshing. The spicy salmon roll, and the shrimp crunch roll were pretty generic. Nothing exceptionally special. But I did enjoy the special of the day , duck confit buns. Delicious tender duck meat, mildly sweet pickle crunchy vegetables, steamed about buns with a hoisin style sauce. I really excellent dish. Best time to come happy hour daily 3 to 6. Can get small plates and sample several different items.
Really fun place to have Happy Hour. The Sushi is good and the Happy Hour prices cannot be beat.
The poke salad was delicious! A little too spicy but i love spicy. Best udon ever. First Japanese restaurant that actually had a decent serving of vegetables in their soup! Udon arrives with fresh spinish layed on top of the soup!
Great spot! Sushi rolls were perfect and drinks delicious. Great service as well
